In the previous lessons, we discussed vital things to help you rank on search engines. I wouldn't want to share much so use the links (below) to go through the previous lessons.
For today, how do we validate each content idea before we write or create that content?
Not every content (Quora question) is worth writing for or creating a blog post page on. And that is what this SEO lesson is all about.
The easy way I do this is with a free tool by Google called Google Keyboard Planner (GKP).
This tool is completely free for Google ad users, but you do not need to run adverts to use this free tool.
So, what is Google Keyword Planner?
Google Keyboard Planner is a free Google Search Engine Optimization tool that allows users to see the metrics on several keywords, search phrases, and words, for a better SEO or ad strategy.
Please follow along because, with this SEO course, the aim is to make it as practical as possible. Take notes of this and implement them. You can open a new browser as you read and do this.
Go to Google Keyboard Planner. Log in and authorize.
You can do this with your Gmail account.
You'll be in your Google ads dashboard. Navigate to tools then Keyword Planner.
You can put in as many keywords.
We can see the detailed analytics for each SEO keyword.
"how to make chicken salad" - 10K – 100K - Low Competition
"how to make hard-boiled eggs" - 10K – 100K - Low Competition
"how to make fried rice" - 10K – 100K - Low Competition
"how to make pancakes from scratch" - 10K – 100K - Low Competition
Avg monthly searches: the average number of times the keyword was searched in 30 days on Google.
Three Month Change: the change in percent in the number of Google users who searched the respective keyword within the last 3 months.
YoY Change: the change in percent in the number of Google users who searched the respective keyword within the last 12 months (a year).
Competition: the number of websites, videos, and advertisers competing for each SEO keyword.
So, for example, you could write a blog post page like;
The Art of Chicken Salad: Your Ultimate Step-by-Step Guide
How to Make Chicken Salad That Wows
Foolproof Steps for Hard-Boiled Eggs
How to Make Hard-Boiled Eggs Like a Pro
A Comprehensive Guide to Making Fried Rice
Or if you're a real estate agency:

As a beginner, you can use ChatGPT to generate blog post ideas from these SEO keywords.
You can source countless content ideas from Google Keyword Planner's free tool.
So, you need to pick out the major keywords and use Google Keyword Planner to find even more keyword ideas to target.
These are great content ideas to blog or write on.
