My name is Simon Taki Zaku.
You see, the name IBIFOUNDRY (AKA Ibi-Foundry Limited) is deeply personal to me. I chose “IBI” in honor of my hometown, Ibi, Taraba State.
Ibi LGA is more than just a location—it’s a symbol of untapped potential, a place with rich resources and talent that has yet to be fully realized. The word “Foundry” represents a place where raw materials are transformed into something powerful and enduring.
Growing up in Jalingo, Taraba State, Nigeria, my life was shaped by the realities of living in a place rich in potential but often overlooked. I’ve always believed that Nigeria, and Africa at large, is filled with untapped potential. From our rich natural resources to the talent, creativity, and resilience of our people, there is so much the world has yet to see.
The IbiFoundry [Our, My] mission is to be a bridge, connecting that untapped potential to the world stage, showing what we are truly capable of.
