V1 uses structured WhatsApp requests and human confirmation rather than pretending automatic dispatch already exists.

How Does IBI-SCHOOLRUN Work?

A guardian can send the pickup area, school, number of children, days required and target arrival time. Recurring child transport needs a separately agreed guardian handover process, driver and vehicle details, absence procedure and routine-change process before the service begins.

What Are The First IBI-DRIVE Services?

The pilot includes Ibi-Keke, Ibi-Car, IBI-SCHOOLRUN, Ibi-StaffRide, Ibi-Airport and Ibi-NightSafe. Each service collects different trip details before the rider continues to WhatsApp.

What Are The Pilot Fare Guides?

Initial pilot estimates are ₦800, ₦1,100 and ₦1,500 for Ibi-Keke trips of about 0–3 km, 3–6 km and 6–10 km, and ₦1,500, ₦2,000 and ₦2,700 for the same Ibi-Car distance bands. School, staff, airport and longer routes are manually quoted.

Why Is The First Version WhatsApp-First?

The website does not keep a separate IBI-DRIVE booking database in V1. The form prepares a structured request on the rider's device, and the message only reaches IBI-DRIVE when the rider chooses to send it through WhatsApp.

How Are Driver Applications Handled?

Drivers can send an expression of interest through the page. Applying does not mean automatic approval. Driver identity, vehicle information and the verification requirements appropriate to the operating model still need to be checked before activation.

How Does IBI-DRIVE Talk About Safety?

IBI-DRIVE does not promise that risk disappears. The operating approach focuses on clear driver and vehicle matching, no silent driver substitution, stronger school handover rules, useful trip sharing and a clear complaint and escalation process.
