  • Dr. Simon Says AI vs Perplexity: Answer Engine vs Decision Engine

Dr. Simon Says AI vs Perplexity: Answer Engine vs Decision Engine Compare Dr. Simon Says AI vs Perplexity honestly: live research, citations, Nigerian context, decision support and which tool fits your next move. What happens when an AI can perform dozens of searches, inspect hundreds of sources and produce a researched answer in minutes, yet the ₦5 million decision sitting on your desk still belongs to you? What happens when every paragraph has citations, every source looks respectable and you are still staring at three reasonable options asking yourself, “Oga, which one am I actually supposed to choose?” And if you are a young Nigerian trying to choose a freelance skill, payment platform, hosting company or business path, does receiving a better answer automatically mean you now have a better decision? These are not theoretical questions anymore. Perplexity has become very good at collapsing a large amount of web research into a smaller, sourced answer. Perplexity officially describes itself as an answer engine that searches the web, identifies sources and synthesises information into direct responses. Its Research mode says it can perform dozens of searches, read hundreds of sources and reason through them before producing a report. Its newer Advanced Deep Research can also work with uploaded documents, run calculations, analyse data and explore harder-to-reach web sources. So please listen to me carefully. I am not going to build Dr. Simon Says AI by pretending Perplexity only gives shallow summaries. That would be nonsense. Perplexity can search. Perplexity can synthesise. Perplexity can reason. Perplexity can compare. Perplexity can cite. Perplexity can research deeply. And increasingly, Perplexity can help create actual work outputs rather than merely answering questions. Good. That raises the standard. Because if an answer engine becomes extremely good at providing sourced answers, then a Decision Engine™ cannot justify itself merely by saying, “I also give answers.” It has to answer a more difficult question. What happens after the answer is already good? That is where I want Dr. Simon Says AI to compete. Not on the number of sources it can collect. Not on pretending the wider internet belongs to IbiFoundry. Not on putting green buttons around information another platform already researches beautifully. But on diagnosis. Context. Prioritisation. Warnings. IbiFoundry knowledge routing. And the moment where an answer has to become an action. Perplexity asks: what does the evidence say? Dr. Simon Says AI is being built to continue with: given your actual situation, what should you do with it? That difference sounds small. In practice, it can be enormous. The 30-Second Answer: Dr. Simon Says AI vs Perplexity If your primary job is researching a subject, searching the live web, seeing citations, comparing sources or building a sourced report, Perplexity is an exceptionally natural tool for that job. If your primary job is turning a problem into an IbiFoundry-specific decision, Nigerian-context warning, relevant resource, service route or human escalation, that is the narrower role Dr. Simon Says AI is deliberately being built to occupy. If you need serious research before making the decision, use Perplexity first and Dr. Simon Says AI second. If the decision is medical, legal, financial, security-sensitive or otherwise high stakes, both systems should remain decision-support tools rather than replacements for the appropriate professional or official authority. That is my answer. No AI tribalism required. First, What Exactly Is Perplexity? Perplexity currently describes itself both as an AI-powered search engine and as an answer engine. Its basic promise is beautifully simple. Ask a question. It searches the web. It synthesises what it finds. It gives you a direct conversational answer. And it shows citations that allow you to inspect the original sources. That last part is important. Because one of the weaknesses of early generative AI experiences was the strange confidence with which a machine could state something without making it easy for you to see where the claim came from. Perplexity made source visibility a major part of its product identity. Its own documentation explicitly encourages users to double-check sources even while the system tries to provide accurate sourced answers. That is a trust design I respect. A source should not become decoration. It should give the user somewhere to verify the answer. Perplexity also goes much further than quick answers. Pro Search is designed for more thorough exploration across multiple sources. Research mode goes deeper again. Projects can organise research, threads, files and work around a continuing subject. Perplexity also supports file-based workflows and increasingly sophisticated asset creation. In other words: Perplexity is not merely “Google with a chat box.” It is an increasingly capable research environment. Any fair comparison must begin there. Why Perplexity Is So Good When Your First Problem Is Uncertainty About Facts Imagine Tunde is evaluating three companies before signing a major supplier agreement. His first problem is not necessarily deciding. His first problem is knowing enough to deserve a decision. Who are the companies? What do their websites say? What public records exist? What complaints are visible? What news reports mention them? What do their product specifications say? What contradictory information exists? Which claims can be supported? That is a research problem. And a platform designed around live-web answers with citations is extremely useful here. Perplexity's Research mode is designed to iteratively search, read and reason through material before writing a comprehensive report. Advanced Deep Research can also cross-reference more information and process uploaded documents. My friend, that is powerful. And it exposes an important mistake people make with AI. Sometimes we rush into asking “What should I do?” before we have gathered enough evidence to make the question sensible. A good Decision Engine should not compete with evidence gathering. It should respect it. Sometimes the best Dr. Simon Says AI answer should literally be: “We do not know enough yet, so research this first.” Wisdom is not always a conclusion. Sometimes wisdom is recognising that the evidence is incomplete. What Is An Answer Engine? Perplexity uses the term directly. An answer engine is designed to move beyond merely presenting possible webpages and instead synthesise information into a direct response. That sounds simple, but it represents a major change in the way human beings interact with information. Traditional search often made the user perform more of the synthesis. Open result one. Read it. Open result two. Compare it. Open result three. Notice the disagreement. Build your own summary. Answer engines increasingly perform part of that synthesis for you. Instead of: “Here are ten places where the answer may exist.” You move closer to: “Here is what several relevant sources collectively appear to say.” That can save enormous time. But now something subtle happens. Once information synthesis becomes easier, the decision itself becomes more visible as the remaining problem. You know what the five products cost. You know their features. You know the reviewers' complaints. You know the current alternatives. You know which studies support which argument. And still: Which one fits you? That is the gap I find fascinating. What Is A Decision Engine™ Then? I use the phrase Decision Engine™ for the product architecture I am building around Dr. Simon Says AI. The important word is not “engine.” The important word is “decision.” The design starts from the assumption that a user's explicit question may hide a different underlying problem. Someone asks: “Best freelance skills in Nigeria.” An answer engine can research current demand and produce an excellent sourced list. Useful. But the user's true question may be: “Which skill gives me the best chance of earning my first money given that I have an old laptop, ten hours per week, strong writing ability and almost no capital?” Now the variables have changed. This is no longer only a market-research problem. It is a fit problem. A prioritisation problem. A trade-off problem. A behaviour problem. That is why Dr. Simon Says AI uses: Search → Diagnosis → Decision → Warning → Action. The system should understand the visible question. Diagnose the underlying intent. Recommend the most sensible direction it can support. Warn the person about the most likely avoidable mistake. Then route them into the next useful step. That next step could be another source. Another question. A free IbiFoundry guide. A paid IbiFoundry service. Ibi-Verify. WhatsApp. Or a qualified professional outside IbiFoundry. That is the architecture. The canonical explanation lives here: https://www.ibifoundry.com.ng/dr-simon-says-ai-decision-engine Answer Engine vs Decision Engine: The Difference In One Example Suppose Mariam asks: “What is the best project-management software for a Nigerian marketing team?” Perplexity can investigate the market. It can compare current pricing. It can summarise features. It can cite company documentation. It can surface reviews. It can help her understand the space very quickly. That is valuable. But imagine Mariam now says: “We are only six people, everybody already uses WhatsApp, two team members hate complicated software, I need client approvals, our budget is tight and the biggest problem is that tasks disappear inside group chats.” Now the question has changed. The best software globally may not be the best software for Mariam. The Decision Engine layer should therefore ask: What problem are we actually solving? Which features are mandatory? Which features are impressive but irrelevant? What is the switching cost? What will the team actually adopt? What could go wrong? What is the smallest sensible test? And perhaps the conclusion becomes: “Do not migrate the whole company yet. Test this tool with one active client project for fourteen days.” That is a different type of value. Not more information. A better decision boundary. Dr. Simon Says AI vs Perplexity: Side-By-Side Live-Web Research Perplexity: Core strength. Dr. Simon Says AI: Can use research capabilities depending on implementation, but live-web breadth is not the central category argument. Citations And Source Visibility Perplexity: Core product strength. Dr. Simon Says AI: Important whenever external evidence supports a decision, but source display alone is not its differentiator. Fast Factual Orientation Perplexity: Excellent fit. Dr. Simon Says AI: Useful when orientation immediately needs to become a contextual decision. Deep Multi-Source Research Perplexity: Stronger and more mature fit today. Dr. Simon Says AI: Not the category I need to pretend to own. Uploaded Documents And Research Synthesis Perplexity: Current research capabilities include document analysis. Dr. Simon Says AI: Relevant where the documents form part of a real IbiFoundry decision workflow. Explicit Decision-First Default Architecture Dr. Simon Says AI: Core design. Perplexity: Can absolutely make recommendations and reason toward decisions, but that is not the only organising idea of the product. Nigerian-Context-First Positioning Dr. Simon Says AI: Core positioning. Perplexity: Can research Nigeria and incorporate context when asked. IbiFoundry Knowledge Graph Dr. Simon Says AI: Native advantage. Perplexity: Not natively organised around IbiFoundry. Ibi-Verify Route Dr. Simon Says AI: Native advantage. Perplexity: Can help research red flags but is not the IbiFoundry verification service. Routing Into Dr. Simon's Coaching, SEO, Content, Website Or Human Support Dr. Simon Says AI: Native route. Perplexity: Can identify outside options, including IbiFoundry if its web research surfaces them, but it is not built around our ecosystem. Broad Research Outside IbiFoundry Perplexity: Massive advantage. Dr. Simon Says AI: That is not the point of the product. Best System For Everything Neither. And please, let us keep it that way. Where Perplexity Is Clearly The Better Fit If I need to research a topic I barely understand, Perplexity is a very natural place to start. If I need current sources and citations around a developing subject, Perplexity makes sense. If I want to compare what several sources say without manually reading every page before obtaining an overview, Perplexity is useful. If I want extensive professional research, its Research features are explicitly designed for that. If I want to upload documents and combine those documents with wider research, Perplexity increasingly supports that workflow. If I want to organise ongoing research inside Projects, Perplexity supports dedicated workspaces. If I want the wider web rather than the IbiFoundry ecosystem, Perplexity has the obvious breadth advantage. If my problem is: “Help me understand what reliable information currently says about this subject.” Perplexity is directly designed around that job. Where Dr. Simon Says AI May Be The Better Fit Now imagine Daniel finishes his Perplexity research. He has five freelance skills. He has demand data. He has salary estimates. He has opinions from freelancers. He has links. He has comparisons. Beautiful. But Daniel still owns one laptop. He still has limited data. He still has two months left in NYSC. He still has no portfolio. And he still needs to choose one direction. That is where I want Dr. Simon Says AI to become useful. Not by researching another fifty sources. By asking: Which option best fits your current assets? What is the cheapest serious experiment? Which path lets you create proof fastest? Which option are you emotionally attracted to but commercially unprepared for? What should you refuse to buy yet? What can you do this week? And because Daniel's problem sits inside an IbiFoundry topic, the system can route him directly into the Free Freelance to $1K lesson: https://www.ibifoundry.com.ng/courses-freelance-to-1k-free-lesson That routing is the native advantage. One Uncomfortable Truth: Citations Do Not Automatically Create Certainty I love citations. I want more AI systems to make evidence easier to inspect. But a citation can support a fact without resolving your decision. A source can tell you that Product A costs less. Another can tell you Product B has more features. Another can show Product C has stronger reviews. All three claims can be true. The decision still depends on what you value. Price. Reliability. Speed. Trust. Risk. Learning curve. Reversibility. Cash flow. Time. Local availability. Your ability. Your stage. A sourced answer can therefore still end with: “It depends.” And sometimes “it depends” is the truthful answer. But when possible, a Decision Engine should continue: “It depends mainly on these three variables, and based on what you told me, I would start here.” That is the value proposition. Perplexity Is Already Moving Beyond Simple Answers, And That Matters This is another place where weak comparison content would become outdated quickly. Perplexity is not standing still inside the narrow category name “answer engine.” Its Research product performs iterative analysis. Its Advanced Deep Research can run calculations and work with uploaded material. Its product environment includes Projects and asset-creation capabilities. That means category boundaries are becoming blurry. Search engines answer. Answer engines reason. Assistants research. Agents act. Decision engines can search. Everybody is moving into everybody else's neighbourhood. So Dr. Simon Says AI cannot depend on a semantic trick. The phrase Decision Engine™ only matters if the experience itself feels decisively different. Does it diagnose? Does it prioritise? Does it understand Nigerian context? Does it surface the important warning? Does it know when to stop selling? Does it route correctly? Does it know when a human is required? Does the user leave knowing what to do? That is the test. The Best Workflow May Be Perplexity First, Dr. Simon Says AI Second This is the part I suspect many people will actually use. Imagine Tunde is choosing a new payment infrastructure provider. He asks Perplexity to research the options. Perplexity gathers current information. It compares pricing. It identifies features. It surfaces documentation. It gives him citations. Now Tunde takes the strongest three options and asks Dr. Simon Says AI: “My Nigerian company processes about ₦20 million monthly, most customers pay locally, we need predictable settlement, I hate operational downtime and I care more about reliability than having the cheapest fee, so which of these three should I test first?” Now we have a decision problem. Dr. Simon Says AI should not repeat the entire research report. It should isolate the variables that actually determine the choice. Then it should recommend a sensible test. And warn Tunde about whatever he should verify before moving real money. That is a beautiful workflow. Research broadly. Decide narrowly. Verify what matters. Act reversibly where possible. If Your Deals Depend On Trust Before The First Meeting, This Is Bigger Than AI You may be an exporter whose foreign buyers regularly ask for certificates, website proof, company information and leadership credibility before money moves. You may run a real estate company where serious prospects hear your name offline and immediately search your projects, directors and public reputation online. You may run a construction company bidding for substantial contracts while procurement officers quietly compare your public digital footprint with the seriousness of the job you want. You may run a logistics company moving millions of naira in goods while your online presence still makes the business look smaller than it really is. You may run a private school where parents hear the school name, then immediately check leadership, fees, reputation, results and credibility before arranging a visit. If your offline business is stronger than what a stranger can verify online, you have a search-trust problem before you have a traffic problem. That is exactly why I care so much about discoverability, proof architecture and decision support. Why Trust Dr. Simon Taki Zaku? I prefer evidence that can survive inspection. One client, Rinol Alaj, Founder and CEO of Uniclix App, wrote: “Working with Simon for around a year on our blog has really helped kickstart our content marketing efforts over at Uniclixapp.com. He’s written several blog articles that have collectively attracted exactly 1,506,400 unique visitors to our company blog. One article alone, about Twitter analytics, has attracted over 482,700 visitors to our website. I highly recommend Simon for startups and blogs.” I have also worked on more than 20 websites and helped generate substantial organic visibility across different projects. But please do not trust me simply because this paragraph sounds impressive. Investigate me. Read the public pages. Watch the videos. Check the screenshots. Read the testimonials. Look at the company. Look at the founder. Trust should increase after inspection, not before it. My Free Visibility Snapshot is for a serious business owner who wants a fast first-pass look at the public search and trust signals surrounding the company before committing to a deeper paid audit. This is especially useful if you sell high-value services, court partners, pitch investors, export products, bid for contracts or routinely hear: “Send us your website first.” Chat personally with Dr. Simon Taki Zaku on WhatsApp: https://wa.me/2349137839031 Paid Visibility Audit — ₦50,000 To ₦100,000 When the Free Visibility Snapshot finds a real trust gap, that is when the deeper paid audit makes sense. This is for an established company that wants more than a quick glance. The audit can examine areas such as: Search presence. Website authority. Founder visibility. Evidence architecture. Buyer trust. Content gaps. Search and AI visibility. Conversion routes. The key question is simple: What does a serious stranger find when they investigate your company before contacting you? If one weak Google result, broken founder trail or thin proof layer can create friction in a ₦10 million, ₦50 million or ₦100 million discussion, the audit is not about vanity rankings. It is about commercial due diligence. Book a Search and AI Visibility Strategy Audit with Dr. Simon Taki Zaku: https://calendly.com/simonzaku/ibifoundry-search-and-ai-visibility-strategy-audits-with-dr-simon-taki-zaku Is SEO Still Worth It? If by SEO you mean publishing random articles and chasing rankings without buyer intent, proof architecture or conversion logic, I would not recommend spending serious money on that. If you mean making your company easier to discover, understand, verify and trust across search and AI-driven discovery, that remains commercially important. The question is no longer simply: “Can we rank?” The better question is: “What happens when a serious buyer searches us?” And increasingly: “What happens when an AI system tries to understand who we are?” How Is This Different From A Typical Agency? I am not interested in selling you a monthly activity list simply because an agency needs recurring retainers. I want to diagnose the commercial visibility problem first. Then show you what matters. Then recommend the smallest serious intervention that can improve it. That may be technical SEO. It may be stronger founder authority. It may be better content. It may be clearer service pages. It may be proof architecture. It may be website restructuring. It may be AI visibility. It may be a combination. The answer should follow the diagnosis. Not the package menu. Your Business Today vs Your Business After Search Trust Is Fixed Your Business Today Prospects hear your name and still need convincing that you are established. Salespeople repeatedly explain facts your website should already prove. Important negotiations begin cold. You rely heavily on paid ads or personal referrals. Founder and company information appears fragmented online. Your Business After Search Trust Is Stronger More prospects arrive already understanding what you do. Meetings begin warmer because basic credibility checks are easier. Negotiations spend less time proving identity and more time discussing fit. Inbound leads have more context before reaching your team. Your company becomes less dependent on one acquisition channel. Search trust is not magic. It does not guarantee deals. But it can remove unnecessary friction before the sales conversation even starts. Search Trust Foundation If your real problem is bigger than rankings, we can build the Search Trust Foundation first. This is for a company whose search problem is structural: Weak website authority. Thin founder evidence. Scattered proof. Unclear service positioning. Poor content depth. A digital footprint that does not match the seriousness of the business. The purpose is not to “do some SEO.” The purpose is to make your company easier for a serious stranger to discover, understand, verify, trust and contact. It is to disclose it and still help the reader make a sensible choice. What About Privacy? Privacy deserves its own paragraph whenever people upload business information into AI tools. You should understand the privacy and data-use settings of any AI service before putting sensitive client, company, legal or personal information into it. The same principle applies to Dr. Simon Says AI. Do not casually paste secrets simply because an interface feels intelligent. Convenience should not suspend judgement. When Perplexity Should Be Your First Tool Use Perplexity first when your biggest problem is not knowing the current facts. Use it when you need source-backed orientation. Use it when you need to explore many sources quickly. Use it when you want to investigate a market. Use it when you need a professional research starting point. Use it when you want to cross-reference multiple pieces of evidence. Use it when your hidden question is: “What does the best available evidence currently say?” When Dr. Simon Says AI Should Be Your First Tool Use Dr. Simon Says AI first when the basic facts are not your biggest problem. Use it when your real problem is indecision. Use it when your question belongs directly inside an IbiFoundry topic. Use it when Nigerian context changes the recommendation. Use it when you want the answer structured around a decision, warning and next step. Use it when you need to know which IbiFoundry resource already solves the deeper problem. Use it when a situation may need Ibi-Verify. Use it when the appropriate next step may be a human. Use it when your hidden question is: “I understand the situation, but what should I actually do now?” Ask Dr. Simon Says AI: https://www.ibifoundry.com.ng/search When You Should Use Both Use Perplexity to research the terrain. Use Dr. Simon Says AI to narrow the route. Use Perplexity to gather current evidence. Use Dr. Simon Says AI to ask what the evidence changes. Use Perplexity to compare ten products. Use Dr. Simon Says AI to identify which two deserve your next test. Use Perplexity to investigate a suspicious claim. Use Dr. Simon Says AI to structure the red flags and next safety step. Then use Ibi-Verify if the problem requires real-world identity verification: https://www.ibifoundry.com.ng/having-doubts-verify-a-nigerian-african-online-love-relationship Use Perplexity to understand the research. Use the relevant professional when the decision exceeds what either AI should responsibly own. This is not weaker positioning. This is mature tool selection. Can Perplexity Make Decisions Too? Of course. Modern AI systems are not trapped inside neat marketing categories. You can ask Perplexity to recommend a product. You can ask it to compare choices. You can give it your preferences. You can ask it to reason. You can ask follow-up questions. You can ask its research workflows to clarify a broad task. So I will never define Dr. Simon Says AI by saying: “Perplexity cannot decide.” That would be false positioning. The difference I am trying to create is that decision architecture is the starting philosophy of Dr. Simon Says AI rather than merely one possible prompt. That includes: Intent diagnosis. Nigerian context. Warnings. IbiFoundry knowledge relationships. Commercial relevance. Non-commercial recommendations. Human escalation. And one next move. That is a product-design distinction. Not a claim of magical intelligence. Can Dr. Simon Says AI Replace Perplexity? No. And again, I do not want it to. If your job is deep open-web research across hundreds of sources, Perplexity has mature dedicated infrastructure for that workflow. If you need rich citation-oriented research, use the tool built around that problem. Dr. Simon Says AI should not become an inferior copy of Perplexity merely because answer engines are fashionable. Its job is to become unusually good at the narrower layer it claims. Diagnosis. Decision. Warning. Action. That is enough territory to spend years improving. That is how a website starts becoming an actual knowledge system. Frequently Asked Questions About Dr. Simon Says AI vs Perplexity Is Dr. Simon Says AI Better Than Perplexity? Not universally. Perplexity is currently much more mature for broad live-web research, citation-oriented answers and deep research workflows, while Dr. Simon Says AI is deliberately being built around a narrower decision-first IbiFoundry experience. Is Perplexity An Answer Engine? Yes. Perplexity explicitly uses the term “answer engine” to describe how it searches the web and synthesises source-backed answers. What Is The Difference Between An Answer Engine And A Decision Engine? An answer engine primarily helps synthesise what information says, while the Decision Engine concept used by Dr. Simon Says AI focuses more deliberately on turning a user's actual context into diagnosis, prioritisation, warnings and a next action. Does Perplexity Search The Live Web? Yes. Perplexity is designed around searching and retrieving current web information when responding to queries. Does Perplexity Provide Citations? Yes. Source visibility and links to original information are central parts of the Perplexity experience. Can Perplexity Perform Deep Research? Yes. Its Research workflows are designed for iterative multi-source research and deeper analysis. Can Perplexity Make Recommendations? Yes. The distinction in this article is not that Perplexity is incapable of recommendations, but that Dr. Simon Says AI is intentionally architected around decision behaviour as its central product identity. Which Is Better For Nigerians? That depends on the job. Perplexity is an excellent option for broad sourced research about Nigerian or global subjects, while Dr. Simon Says AI is deliberately being designed around Nigerian-context decision support and the IbiFoundry ecosystem. Can I Use Perplexity And Dr. Simon Says AI Together? Yes. One strong workflow is Perplexity for broad research followed by Dr. Simon Says AI for narrowing that research into a contextual IbiFoundry decision and next action. Which One Should I Use For Scam Verification? Perplexity can help investigate public information and source claims, while Dr. Simon Says AI can help structure the decision and route appropriate cases into Ibi-Verify. Ibi-Verify: https://www.ibifoundry.com.ng/having-doubts-verify-a-nigerian-african-online-love-relationship Can Dr. Simon Says AI Replace Perplexity? No. If your primary job is deep open-web research, broad source exploration and citation-heavy investigation, use a product designed around that problem. Dr. Simon Says AI should become unusually useful at the narrower layer it claims: Diagnosis. Decision. Warning. Action. What Should I Use For High-Stakes Decisions? Use AI for research and decision support, but escalate to the appropriate professional, regulator, institution or official authority when medical, legal, financial, security or other high-stakes consequences are involved. Good AI judgement includes knowing when AI should stop. So Which One Should You Actually Use? My friend, if your problem is ignorance, research. If your problem is uncertainty about the evidence, verify. If your problem is indecision after the evidence is already strong, decide. Perplexity is very good at reducing the first problem. Dr. Simon Says AI is being built deliberately around the third. And good judgement sits across all three. Do not use a Decision Engine to escape necessary research. Do not use an Answer Engine to outsource responsibility. Do not use citations as decoration. Do not confuse confidence with evidence. Do not confuse evidence with relevance. And do not confuse a recommendation with your responsibility to make the final move. There is no shame in using Perplexity when Perplexity is the better tool. There is no advantage in forcing Dr. Simon Says AI into every problem. I would rather build something narrower that becomes deeply useful than something broad that becomes a poor imitation of everybody else. So research until you understand enough. Verify what could materially change the decision. Then ask: What exactly should happen next? That is where Dr. Simon Says AI wants to meet you. • Dr. Simon Says AI vs ChatGPT: Which One Should You Actually Use?

Compare Dr. Simon Says AI vs ChatGPT honestly: where ChatGPT is stronger, where Dr. Simon’s Decision Engine fits, and which one to use for your exact need. Author: Dr. Simon Taki Zaku Publisher: IbiFoundry Limited Last updated: 13 August 2026 The 30-second answer If you want the short answer, ChatGPT is currently the far broader general-purpose AI platform, while Dr. Simon Says AI is being deliberately built as a narrower IbiFoundry Decision Engine™ focused on Nigerian context, problem diagnosis, warnings, relevant resource routing and one very important question: “What should I actually do next?” For broad writing, brainstorming, coding, data analysis, image work, file analysis and deep research, ChatGPT will usually be the stronger fit. For Nigerian-context questions that sit directly inside the IbiFoundry ecosystem, Dr. Simon Says AI is intentionally designed to be more focused. For questions involving IbiFoundry resources, freelancing, SEO, WAEC, JAMB, Taraba, Nigerian scams, Ibi-Verify or a sensible next step, Dr. Simon Says AI has a native contextual advantage. And for serious research followed by a Nigerian-specific decision, my friend, sometimes the smartest answer is simply: use both. But there is much more to this comparison than asking which AI is “better.” Because that question is actually too small. The better question is: Which one is better for what you are trying to do right now? What you will learn My direct Dr. Simon Says AI vs ChatGPT verdict What ChatGPT actually is today What Dr. Simon Says AI is designed to do differently A complete side-by-side comparison Where ChatGPT is clearly the better fit Where Dr. Simon Says AI may be the better fit Why using both can sometimes be smarter Why Nigerian context can change an AI recommendation Which AI you should actually trust Real Dr. Simon Says AI vs ChatGPT examples Frequently asked questions Dr. Simon Says AI vs ChatGPT: my direct answer ↑ Back to Table of Contents Ogee, let us kill one temptation immediately. I am not going to stand here simply because I created Dr. Simon Says AI and tell you that it is automatically better than ChatGPT. That would sound nice inside an advert. It would also be intellectually lazy. ChatGPT is an extraordinarily broad AI assistant. It can help people brainstorm, write, study, plan, solve problems, code, analyse documents, interpret images, work with data and perform many other tasks. Depending on the capabilities available to a user, ChatGPT can also search the web, conduct deeper multi-source research, use voice, organise work inside projects and retain useful context through memory features. Dr. Simon Says AI is not currently trying to compete with that entire universe. In fact, I think trying to do so would be a strategic mistake. I am interested in a narrower question. What happens when somebody already has information but still does not know what decision to make? That is the space I am building around Dr. Simon Says AI. One is a broad general-purpose AI environment. The other is being designed as an opinionated decision layer inside the IbiFoundry knowledge ecosystem. Sometimes ChatGPT will be exactly what you need. Sometimes Dr. Simon Says AI will make more sense. And sometimes the smartest workflow will be to use ChatGPT first and Dr. Simon Says AI second. That is the comparison I want to give you. Not fanboyism. Not fear. Not “my AI can beat your AI.” Just usefulness. What exactly is ChatGPT today? ↑ Back to Table of Contents Before comparing anything with ChatGPT, we need to compare it against the real product rather than the old version living inside somebody's head. ChatGPT is a broad general-purpose AI assistant from OpenAI. It can answer questions, explain ideas, draft content, rewrite text, summarise information, translate languages, reason through problems and support creative work. But ChatGPT today goes considerably beyond ordinary text conversation. ChatGPT can search the web ChatGPT Search can retrieve timely information from the internet and provide links or citations to relevant sources. That means it would be inaccurate for me to describe modern ChatGPT as something that only answers from a fixed body of old training information. ChatGPT can conduct deeper research ChatGPT also offers deeper research capabilities designed for questions where one quick web search is not enough. These kinds of workflows can investigate multiple sources and synthesise information into a more structured research output. That makes ChatGPT particularly powerful when the problem is not simply making one decision but first understanding a broad landscape. ChatGPT can work with files, images and data ChatGPT can analyse documents, images, spreadsheets and other uploaded information in supported experiences. It can also help with structured data analysis and visual work depending on the available tools. ChatGPT can support longer-running projects Projects can help organise conversations, files, context and instructions around a continuing objective. Memory can also make the experience more personalised by retaining useful information when that feature is available and enabled. ChatGPT can speak Voice experiences allow users to interact conversationally without depending entirely on typing. My point is simple. ChatGPT is no longer merely a chatbot that writes paragraphs. It is becoming a broad AI environment. Any honest Dr. Simon Says AI comparison must begin there. Want the definitive Dr. Simon Says AI explanation? This article is a comparison page rather than the canonical definition of Dr. Simon Says AI. Read What Is Dr. Simon Says AI? The Naija-First Decision Engine That Turns Search Into Action here: https://www.ibifoundry.com.ng/dr-simon-says-ai-decision-engine So what is Dr. Simon Says AI trying to do differently? ↑ Back to Table of Contents Dr. Simon Says AI is deliberately smaller in scope. I consider that a feature rather than an embarrassment. The product is being built around the idea that many people searching online are not actually looking for more information. They are trying to resolve uncertainty. Should I pay? Should I trust this person? Which option fits me? Am I making a mistake? Where should I start? What should I avoid? What should I do next? Dr. Simon Says AI therefore uses a deliberate decision pattern. Search → Diagnosis → Decision → Warning → Action. It is also being built around a very specific knowledge environment. Dr. Simon Taki Zaku. IbiFoundry. Nigeria. Africa. Taraba. Freelancing. SEO. Business. Education. Scams and verification. Local infrastructure. Existing IbiFoundry articles. Existing IbiFoundry courses. Existing IbiFoundry products and services. Ibi-Verify. Human WhatsApp escalation. In other words, ChatGPT begins from a much larger general-purpose intelligence environment. Dr. Simon Says AI begins from a deliberately opinionated IbiFoundry environment. And that creates the central trade-off. Breadth versus intentional focus. Dr. Simon Says AI vs ChatGPT: the complete comparison ↑ Back to Table of Contents Let me make this extremely easy to understand. General-purpose AI capability ChatGPT: Stronger fit. Dr. Simon Says AI: Deliberately focused rather than general-purpose. Writing and brainstorming ChatGPT: Stronger fit for broad drafting, editing, ideation and creative work. Dr. Simon Says AI: Useful when the writing question is connected to a decision or IbiFoundry context. Coding ChatGPT: Stronger fit. Dr. Simon Says AI: Coding is not a core product proposition. Data analysis ChatGPT: Stronger fit. Dr. Simon Says AI: Data analysis is not currently the primary use case. Image analysis and generation ChatGPT: Stronger fit. Dr. Simon Says AI: Not currently the central product proposition. Multi-source deep research ChatGPT: Stronger and more mature fit today. Dr. Simon Says AI: The capability depends on how the deployed Decision Engine is configured and is not the central differentiator. Decision-first default structure Dr. Simon Says AI: This is core product design. ChatGPT: Can absolutely reason toward decisions, especially when properly prompted. Nigerian-context product positioning Dr. Simon Says AI: Core product design. ChatGPT: Can adapt very well when Nigerian context is provided and reliable current information is available. IbiFoundry knowledge routing Dr. Simon Says AI: Native advantage. ChatGPT: Not natively built around IbiFoundry's own knowledge graph. Ibi-Verify routing Dr. Simon Says AI: Native route. ChatGPT: Can recommend verification generally but is not itself the IbiFoundry verification ecosystem. Dr. Simon human escalation Dr. Simon Says AI: Intentionally connected to the wider IbiFoundry human-support ecosystem. ChatGPT: Not natively connected to Dr. Simon or IbiFoundry. WAEC and JAMB to specific IbiFoundry resources Dr. Simon Says AI: Native routing advantage where the relevant IbiFoundry resource already exists. ChatGPT: Can research and answer the topic more broadly. Taraba and Ibi knowledge ecosystem Dr. Simon Says AI: Deliberate strategic focus. ChatGPT: Can research and discuss Taraba when sufficient context and sources are available. Best for every imaginable task Dr. Simon Says AI: No. ChatGPT: Also no. That last comparison matters. Technology should be selected by the job. Not tribal loyalty. Where ChatGPT is clearly the better fit ↑ Back to Table of Contents There are many situations where I would tell you to use ChatGPT before Dr. Simon Says AI. Yes, I said it. Broad writing work If you need extensive drafting, rewriting, summarisation, brainstorming or iterative editing across many subjects, ChatGPT is designed as a much broader writing assistant. Coding and technical problem-solving If you need programming help, software reasoning, debugging or other technical development work, ChatGPT is the more natural fit. Data analysis If you want to analyse spreadsheets, inspect structured data, perform calculations or create data visualisations, ChatGPT has much broader capability for that kind of work. Image work If your task involves understanding an image, generating a new image or editing visual content, ChatGPT is better positioned for that workflow. Long research projects If you need to investigate many sources and build a structured research report, ChatGPT's broader research ecosystem makes it the more natural first tool. Longer-running general workspaces If you are managing a project involving multiple files, conversations and instructions over time, ChatGPT's broader workspace features can be particularly useful. I gain nothing by pretending Dr. Simon Says AI currently owns these categories. It does not need to. A focused product becomes stronger when it knows what it does not need to become. Where Dr. Simon Says AI may be the better fit ↑ Back to Table of Contents Now we come to the reason I am building the thing in the first place. Dr. Simon Says AI can become unusually useful when your problem sits directly inside the IbiFoundry knowledge graph. You want a decision rather than twenty possibilities The default Dr. Simon Says AI architecture is intended to diagnose the real problem, recommend a direction, warn about likely mistakes and show a meaningful next action. Your question is specifically Nigerian Nigerian payment realities, examination systems, local businesses, infrastructure, geography, scams, online relationships and cultural context are not side categories for this product. They are part of the environment I deliberately want it to understand. Your answer already exists somewhere inside IbiFoundry If IbiFoundry already has a dedicated WAEC guide, JAMB guide, SEO service, freelance course, Nigerian scam article, Taraba resource or verification page, Dr. Simon Says AI can be designed to route you directly into it. That means the AI does not need to recreate an entire 5,000-word resource inside one response. It can explain enough to help you understand the issue and then connect you to the definitive resource. You need Ibi-Verify Imagine somebody tells you: “I met a Nigerian online and something about the story is not adding up.” A broad AI can discuss scam warning signs. Dr. Simon Says AI can do that too. But because it exists inside the IbiFoundry ecosystem, it can also naturally route the user toward Ibi-Verify when real-world verification becomes the sensible next action. Ibi-Verify: https://www.ibifoundry.com.ng/having-doubts-verify-a-nigerian-african-online-love-relationship You want the Dr. Simon decision philosophy Dr. Simon Says AI is deliberately infused with a particular way of solving problems. Decision first. Trust first. Safety first. Teaching before selling. The exact resource before the generic homepage. The useful warning before the affiliate link. Human verification where machines should stop pretending. That philosophy is part of the product. You need a route toward a human Sometimes the smartest thing an AI can say is: “My friend, this one has reached the point where a real human needs to look at it.” Dr. Simon Says AI is deliberately being connected to that human route. Maybe “Dr. Simon Says AI vs ChatGPT” is actually the wrong question ↑ Back to Table of Contents This is where things become interesting. Human beings love winner-versus-loser comparisons. Android or iPhone. Messi or Ronaldo. Rice or swallow. ChatGPT or Dr. Simon Says AI. But tools do not always need to fight. Sometimes they belong at different stages of the same workflow. Imagine you want to launch a freelance business from Nigeria. You could use ChatGPT to brainstorm twenty possible skills. You could ask it to research those skills. You could upload information and compare opportunities. You could use it to help draft your portfolio. Then you could ask Dr. Simon Says AI a much narrower question. “I live in Nigeria, I have no portfolio, I can write well and I have only ten hours each week, so which of these three freelance directions should I begin with and what exactly should my first move be?” Now the problem has moved from exploration into decision. Or imagine that you are researching SEO. ChatGPT can help you study technical SEO, content strategy, structured data, keywords and hundreds of related concepts. Then Dr. Simon Says AI can help translate your actual business problem into a specific IbiFoundry route. Perhaps you need our SEO service. Perhaps you need content marketing. Perhaps you need website development. Perhaps you merely need one free article and do not need to pay us anything yet. That is not competition. That is workflow design. ChatGPT for breadth. Dr. Simon Says AI for focused IbiFoundry decision routing. Human judgement for the final move. Why Nigerian context can change the answer ↑ Back to Table of Contents This is one of the areas where I want Dr. Simon Says AI to earn the right to exist. Context is not a Nigerian flag pasted on an American answer. Real context can change the recommendation itself. Imagine you ask whether solar is worth installing. That decision changes when unreliable electricity is a daily operational problem rather than a minor inconvenience. Imagine you ask how to receive international freelance payments. Platform availability, banking access, foreign-currency payments, documentation and Nigerian verification requirements can change which recommendation is practical. Imagine you ask about WAEC. An answer that does not understand the examination system, registration environment and Nigerian student reality may be technically related while still being practically useless. Imagine you ask whether somebody you met online is a Nigerian scammer. Good advice must protect you without lazily treating Nigerian nationality itself as proof of fraud. That takes context. It takes restraint. And it takes judgement. ChatGPT can absolutely reason about Nigerian circumstances when the user provides strong context and current reliable sources are available. The difference is that Dr. Simon Says AI is being designed so Nigerian context is not merely an occasional adaptation. It is part of the product's starting assumptions. Real Dr. Simon Says AI vs ChatGPT examples ↑ Back to Table of Contents Sometimes examples explain this better than another paragraph of theory. Example 1: “Write me a 2,000-word article about productivity.” Start with ChatGPT. That is broad writing work. Example 2: “I am a Nigerian civil servant and want a freelance side income, but I only have weekends, so what should I start with?” This is exactly the kind of contextual decision question Dr. Simon Says AI is being designed around. It can also naturally route the person toward my free Freelance to $1K lesson. Free Freelance to $1K lesson: https://www.ibifoundry.com.ng/courses-freelance-to-1k-free-lesson Example 3: “Analyse this 50,000-row CSV.” Use ChatGPT. That is data work rather than an IbiFoundry decision-routing problem. Example 4: “This Nigerian man I met online says his mother is in hospital and he urgently needs $2,000, so should I send it?” Dr. Simon Says AI can begin with a decision-first safety response. It should immediately warn the user not to allow emotional urgency to replace verification. It can help identify what evidence should be preserved. And if the situation requires deeper real-world verification, it can connect the person to Ibi-Verify. Example 5: “Research the major AI search platforms and give me a detailed documented industry report.” ChatGPT's broader research capabilities are the more natural first choice. Example 6: “After reading that report, which AI approach makes the most practical sense for my Nigerian small business?” Now a Dr. Simon Says AI decision pass may add valuable Nigerian and IbiFoundry-specific context. Example 7: “I have severe chest pain and I cannot breathe properly, so what should I do?” This is not a Dr. Simon Says AI versus ChatGPT competition. This is a real-world medical situation where appropriate urgent professional care takes priority. And that example captures something important. The best tool is the one that matches the job. Which one should you trust? ↑ Back to Table of Contents Neither blindly. That is my answer. ChatGPT can make mistakes. Dr. Simon Says AI can make mistakes. Google can surface bad information. A human expert can make mistakes. A website can become outdated. A source can be misunderstood. Intelligence is not the absence of error. A good system simply makes uncertainty easier to recognise and manage. Current facts should be verified. Important claims should be supported by evidence. Medical questions deserve medical professionals when necessary. Serious legal questions deserve qualified legal advice. Major financial decisions deserve appropriate professional and regulatory context. Potential scams deserve evidence preservation and proper verification. And if Dr. Simon Says AI ever begins speaking as though it deserves blind obedience, then we have built the wrong thing. The goal is not to replace your judgement. The goal is to improve it. Ibi-Aid for your “Dr. Simon Says AI vs ChatGPT” search If your real question is simply, “Which one should I use?”, use this quick decision filter. If you want to write, brainstorm, summarise, code, analyse data or perform broad AI work, start with ChatGPT. If you want to conduct broad research across many subjects and sources, ChatGPT is the more natural starting point. If you want to make a practical Nigerian-context decision, try Dr. Simon Says AI. If you want to find the correct IbiFoundry article, framework, course, service or resource, use Dr. Simon Says AI. If you are dealing with a suspicious Nigerian or African online relationship, use Dr. Simon Says AI for the initial decision layer and move to Ibi-Verify when genuine verification is needed. If you want to research broadly and then translate that research into a narrower Nigerian decision, use both. And if the problem is serious medical, legal, financial, security-related or otherwise high stakes, the relevant professional or official authority must remain part of your decision. Simple. No single honest answer can say Dr. Simon Says AI is universally better than ChatGPT. ChatGPT is currently the much broader general-purpose AI platform, while Dr. Simon Says AI is intentionally being built around a narrower decision-first IbiFoundry experience. Is Dr. Simon Says AI a ChatGPT alternative? It can serve as an alternative for some decision-oriented searches, but I would not describe it as a complete ChatGPT replacement. ChatGPT handles a much wider range of tasks, while Dr. Simon Says AI is being built to specialise more heavily in decision support, Nigerian context and IbiFoundry routing. When should I use ChatGPT instead of Dr. Simon Says AI? Use ChatGPT when you need broad writing, brainstorming, coding, data analysis, image work, file analysis, research or general-purpose AI assistance. When should I use Dr. Simon Says AI instead? Use Dr. Simon Says AI when your problem is primarily a decision and Nigerian context, IbiFoundry resources, Dr. Simon's frameworks, local services, verification or a concrete next action are especially relevant. Can ChatGPT search the internet? Yes, ChatGPT has web-search capabilities that can retrieve timely information and provide relevant source links or citations. Can ChatGPT conduct deep research? Yes, ChatGPT includes deeper research capabilities intended for more extensive multi-source investigation and synthesis. Can Dr. Simon Says AI search the live internet? That can depend on the specific deployed version and infrastructure available when you use the tool, so changing information such as prices, deadlines, regulations and current events should still be verified. Which AI is better for Nigerians? That depends completely on the task. ChatGPT offers far broader AI functionality, while Dr. Simon Says AI is deliberately being designed around Nigerian realities and the IbiFoundry knowledge ecosystem. Can I use ChatGPT and Dr. Simon Says AI together? Absolutely. One useful workflow is to use ChatGPT for broad exploration or research and then use Dr. Simon Says AI when you want that information translated into a narrower Nigerian-context decision, warning or IbiFoundry next step. Can I trust Dr. Simon Says AI more because Dr. Simon created it? No. Trust important information because the evidence supports it, not because my name is attached to the system. So which one should you actually use? ↑ Back to Table of Contents My friend, stop asking which AI is universally “the best.” That question will become less useful every year. Ask instead: What am I trying to accomplish? If you need a broad AI assistant, ChatGPT is enormously capable. If you need extensive research, ChatGPT may be the more natural starting point. If you need coding, files, images or data analysis, ChatGPT is likely closer to the job. But if what you really have is a Nigerian-context decision and you want a system deliberately designed to diagnose your problem, surface a warning, recommend a next move and connect you into the wider IbiFoundry knowledge ecosystem, that is exactly the territory I am building Dr. Simon Says AI to serve. Not everything must become a war. Sometimes one tool helps you understand. Another helps you decide. And a human still takes responsibility for the final action. That is a much healthier future than pretending one artificial intelligence system should own your entire brain. So instead of asking: “ChatGPT or Dr. Simon Says AI?” Ask: “What exactly am I trying to decide?” Then choose the tool that gets you closer to that answer. Stop Searching. Start Deciding. • What Is Dr. Simon Says AI? Nigeria’s AI Decision Engine Explained

Discover Dr. Simon Says AI, a Nigerian AI decision engine that turns questions into clear answers, warnings and practical next steps without search overload. Author: Dr. Simon Taki Zaku, Publisher: IbiFoundry Limited. You have probably done this before. You open Google because you have one question, you open five tabs, you watch two YouTube videos, somebody sends you a WhatsApp voice note, you ask ChatGPT, you see another opinion on Facebook, and thirty minutes later you have more information than when you started but somehow you are still asking yourself; “Oga, so what exactly should I do now?” That small sentence is one of the biggest reasons I built Dr. Simon Says AI — Decision Engine™. I did not build it because the world lacks search engines. My friend, we have plenty. I did not build it because Google suddenly became useless, because that would simply be untrue. I did not build it because ChatGPT cannot answer questions either, because that would also be untrue. I built it because I believe there is still a very important space between finding information, understanding information, and making a sensible decision from that information. That space is where Dr. Simon Says AI wants to live. I am Dr. Simon Taki Zaku, Founder and CEO of IbiFoundry Limited, and I am building this from Taraba State, Nigeria. Yes, Taraba. Not Silicon Valley. Not London. Not somewhere I need to pretend is more important than where God planted me. And one thing years of writing, SEO, digital strategy, freelancing, business, teaching and simply talking with ordinary people have taught me is that most people are not searching because they enjoy searching. They are searching because there is something they need to decide. “Should I pay this person?” “Is this website genuine?” “How do I register for WAEC?” “Which investment app makes more sense for me?” “How much should I charge this client?” “Should I install solar?” “How can my business rank on Google?” “Is this Nigerian man or woman I met online telling me the truth?” “What exactly should I do next?” Those are not merely information questions. Many of them are decision questions wearing search-query clothes. That is the idea behind Dr. Simon Says AI. Stop Searching. Start Deciding. What you will learn In this guide, I will explain: What Dr. Simon Says AI actually is Why I built it from Taraba State, Nigeria The difference between a search engine, answer engine and decision engine How the Dr. Simon Says AI decision system works What happens after you ask a question Why it is Naija-first rather than Nigeria-only The kinds of questions it can help you think through Dr. Simon Says AI vs Google Search Dr. Simon Says AI vs ChatGPT How Gemini, Google AI Mode and Perplexity fit into the picture Whether you should trust Dr. Simon Says AI blindly What the AI should never replace Why it connects you to IbiFoundry resources and human help Questions you can try right now Frequently asked questions The next decision I want you to make What is Dr. Simon Says AI? Here is the direct answer ↑ Back to Table of Contents Dr. Simon Says AI — Decision Engine™ is an IbiFoundry-powered, Naija-first AI decision experience I created to help a user move from a question to clearer understanding, warnings, practical options and a sensible next action instead of stopping at information alone. That is the simplest definition. Notice something important there. I did not say it magically knows everything. It does not. I did not say every answer it gives should be obeyed. Absolutely not. And I am not asking you to delete Google, uninstall ChatGPT, abandon Gemini or stop using whatever useful research tools already work for you. The point is different. I am interested in what happens after information arrives. Suppose you search: “How can I register WAEC 2026?” Information can tell you registration exists. A good search experience can help you locate official information and useful guides. An AI answer can summarise the process. But the person asking may still need something more human: “Which information should I trust?” “What should I prepare first?” “What mistake could cost me?” “Am I already late?” “What should I avoid?” “What do I do today?” That is the layer I am deliberately trying to build around Dr. Simon Says AI. The engine is therefore designed around a simple flow: Search → Diagnosis → Decision → Warning → Action. And where an existing IbiFoundry article, service, free guide, tool, course, verification resource or human conversation can genuinely help the user continue, the system can route the person there instead of pretending one AI response must solve everything. That last part matters to me. A trustworthy AI should sometimes be confident enough to say: “My friend, I have helped you as far as I responsibly can; now verify this with the official source.” Or: “Do not send another naira yet.” Or: “This one needs a doctor, lawyer, licensed financial professional or relevant government authority, not another AI paragraph.” Or even: “Come to WhatsApp and let a real human look at this with you.” That is not weakness. I believe that is intelligence. Dr. Simon Says AI therefore sits inside a much bigger IbiFoundry idea. IbiFoundry is not merely trying to publish more pages. We are building connected knowledge, useful tools, practical services, human support and decision routes around real questions ordinary Nigerians and Africans already have. Dr. Simon Says AI becomes one doorway into that ecosystem. You ask. The system tries to understand what you really need. It helps reduce the noise. It gives you a clearer direction. Then it shows you where to go next. That is why I call it a Decision Engine™. IbiFounder note: If you already understand the idea and simply want to use the tool, ask Dr. Simon Says AI here. Why I built Dr. Simon Says AI from Taraba State, Nigeria ↑ Back to Table of Contents There is something I find beautiful about building technology from a place people do not normally mention in the first paragraph of an AI story. Taraba State. Ibi. Jalingo. Wukari. These names matter to me because they remind me that useful ideas do not need permission from famous technology cities before they become useful. I am from Taraba State, Nigeria, and much of the way I think about the internet comes from seeing what information inequality looks like from here. Sometimes somebody does not need a 47-page international report. They need to know whether the cybercafé man is telling them the truth about an examination registration. Sometimes somebody does not need another motivational speech about freelancing. They need somebody to explain how a Nigerian beginner with no Upwork reviews can begin building proof and approaching clients. Sometimes somebody abroad is talking to a Nigerian online and does not know whether the story they are hearing is real, exaggerated or completely fabricated. Sometimes a small business owner in Jalingo has a website but cannot understand why Google barely shows it. Sometimes somebody bought Starlink, solar equipment or some online service and simply wants to know the next sensible step before spending more money. The internet has enormous information. But access to information and access to useful judgement are not the same thing. That distinction has followed me for years. When I started experimenting with the internet, I did not begin with some beautiful office and a shelf full of expensive computers. My journey started much more modestly, experimenting with blogging and learning what the internet could make possible from Nigeria. Over time I became deeply interested in search, writing, content systems, digital business, online visibility and the peculiar thing that happens when a person finds exactly the right page at exactly the right moment. That eventually grew into IbiFoundry. And IbiFoundry itself increasingly pushed me toward a bigger question: What if the website stopped behaving like a pile of pages and started behaving like an intelligent map? A map that knows this WAEC question belongs to our WAEC registration guide. A map that knows a JAMB student may need our JAMB success blueprint. A map that knows somebody worried about a suspicious online relationship should see Ibi-Verify before seeing some unrelated product. A map that knows a Nigerian freelancer asking how to begin should probably enter my free Freelance to $1K lesson before anybody starts shouting “buy, buy, buy.” A map that knows somebody asking how to rank a business should connect search strategy, technical visibility, content and our IbiFoundry SEO services. That is the larger imagination behind Dr. Simon Says AI. I am not trying to build intelligence that merely speaks. I want to build intelligence that understands where knowledge belongs. There is also another reason the Nigerian starting point matters. Context changes advice. A payment tool that is convenient in California may be irrelevant to someone in Taraba. A scholarship instruction may depend on a Nigerian institution. A business recommendation must understand naira realities. A travel answer about Taraba should not sound like it was written by somebody who thinks Jalingo is a neighbourhood in Lagos. A scam warning involving Nigerian banking, cryptocurrency, mobile money or online relationships may require cultural and practical context. So when I say Naija-first, I am not saying “Nigeria-only.” I am saying: Start by understanding somebody properly. Then expand. The internet is global, but human problems are always experienced locally. That is where I wanted Dr. Simon Says AI to begin. From here. Search engine vs answer engine vs decision engine: what is the difference? ↑ Back to Table of Contents This distinction needs to be explained carefully because the internet has changed dramatically. Years ago, it was easier to describe a search engine as something that gave you a page of links and left you to investigate. That description is no longer enough. Google Search itself has evolved far beyond a simple list of blue links, and Google’s AI Mode can handle complex, multi-part questions, comparisons and follow-up questions while connecting users with web information. ChatGPT can also search the web when current information is useful and can return answers with links or inline citations to relevant sources. Perplexity explicitly describes itself as an answer engine, explaining that it searches the web, identifies sources and synthesises information into direct answers rather than requiring the user to work through a traditional list of search results. So I do not want to create a fake argument where modern search engines only “find,” AI tools only “chat,” and Dr. Simon Says AI alone can think. That would age badly. Instead, I use three ideas to explain the product. A search engine helps you discover At its core, search is incredibly valuable because discovery matters. You need the official WAEC website. You need a government document. You need a business address. You need current news. You need multiple independent sources. You need to investigate what exists. Google, Bing and other search systems are extraordinarily useful in that world. An answer engine helps you understand Now imagine you do not want to open fifteen sources yourself. You want technology to retrieve information, understand the question and synthesise a useful response. That is the answer-engine idea. Perplexity uses that terminology directly, and modern ChatGPT Search and Google AI experiences increasingly provide similar answer-oriented interactions in different ways. Instead of: “Here are ten places where the information may exist.” The experience moves closer to: “Here is what those sources collectively appear to say.” That is a major leap. But I am interested in one step after that. A decision engine helps you ask, “So what should I do?” This is the category I am trying to develop around Dr. Simon Says AI. Not because other AI products cannot recommend actions. Of course they can. The difference is product emphasis and architecture. Dr. Simon Says AI is intentionally organised around the decision journey. What are you really trying to accomplish? What is the most useful answer? What danger could you be missing? What should you avoid? What action makes sense now? Which IbiFoundry knowledge asset already goes deeper? Does this require human help? Should you act, verify, compare, wait or stop? That creates a useful three-layer model: Layer Main job User’s hidden question Search engine Discovery “Where can I find information about this?” Answer engine Synthesis “What does the information appear to mean?” Decision engine Direction “Given my actual situation, what should I do next?” The boundaries overlap. A search engine can answer. An answer engine can recommend. A chatbot can search. An agent can act. A decision engine can also search and answer. The categories are therefore better understood as design priorities, not prison cells. And this matters because research increasingly suggests that traditional and generative search systems may retrieve and present substantially different source sets for the same information need. A 2026 study comparing traditional Google results, Google AI Overviews and Gemini across a benchmark of 11,500 user queries found significant differences in the sources surfaced by the different systems, reinforcing a simple lesson: how information is retrieved and synthesised can shape what the user ultimately sees. That makes judgement more important, not less. Because once machines begin deciding what information you encounter first, the user still needs to ask: Is the source current? Is the claim supported? Is there a financial interest behind this recommendation? Does this apply in Nigeria? What could go wrong? Do I need an official source? And finally: What is the wisest next move? That final question is where I want Dr. Simon Says AI to earn its place. How Dr. Simon Says AI works ↑ Back to Table of Contents If I had to reduce the entire Dr. Simon Says AI philosophy to one line, it would be this: Search → Diagnosis → Decision → Warning → Action. Let me break that down properly. Search Everything begins with your actual question. Not the question I wish you had asked. Not the keyword some SEO tool tells me is profitable. Your question. You may type: “Is Temu legit in Nigeria?” Or: “How can I get my first freelance client?” Or: “This man I met online says he is from Nigeria and needs money for an emergency; should I send it?” Or: “Which is better, PiggyVest or Cowrywise?” Or: “How do I rank my Wix website on Google?” The query is the doorway. But it is not yet the whole problem. Diagnosis This is where wisdom must enter. Two people can type almost the same words while needing completely different help. Imagine two people search: “Trust Wallet hacked.” The first person's funds were already transferred away. The second person merely received a suspicious message saying their wallet is compromised. Same topic. Different problem. Different urgency. Different action. So Dr. Simon Says AI is designed to interpret intent rather than merely match words. Behind the literal query, the engine should look for questions such as: What does this person appear to want? Is there a safety risk? Is money involved? Is the user trying to compare? Is the user trying to verify? Is this primarily informational? Could wrong advice cause serious harm? Does the answer depend on changing information? Is there an existing IbiFoundry resource that goes deeper? Diagnosis prevents a search box from behaving like a vending machine. Decision After understanding the likely intent, the response should become directional. Not authoritarian. Directional. For example: “Based on what you have described, I would not send money yet.” Or: “If you are completely new to freelancing, start with one sellable skill and one client problem before paying for ten tools.” Or: “For current WAEC deadlines and fees, verify the official announcement before making payment.” Or: “If your goal is a Nigerian side-income path rather than immediate full-time freelancing, start smaller and validate the skill before resigning from your job.” A useful decision is specific enough to move you forward but humble enough to acknowledge uncertainty. Warning This may be my favourite part of the architecture. Most people searching online are not only asking: “What should I do?” They also need: “What should I absolutely not do?” That difference can save money. Time. Relationships. Reputation. And sometimes much more. If someone searches a crypto-recovery question, the warning may be: Do not pay another stranger who guarantees fund recovery. If somebody is dealing with a romantic online relationship, the warning may be: Do not allow emotional urgency to become a substitute for verification. If somebody is trying to rank a website, the warning may be: Do not buy thousands of junk backlinks because somebody promised page-one results in 48 hours. If somebody is preparing for an examination, the warning may be: Do not confuse “expo” groups with preparation. A good decision system should reveal traps as well as opportunities. Action Now we reach the point many information products forget. What happens next? I want the answer to leave you with something concrete. Read this official source. Open this IbiFoundry guide. Download this checklist. Save this evidence. Compare these two things. Contact this authority. Ask another question. Join a free lesson. Speak with a human. Start verification. Book a service. Or sometimes: Do nothing yet. Yes, waiting can be an action. Refusing to send money can be an action. Closing the suspicious website can be an action. Getting a second medical opinion can be an action. The goal is not to maximise clicks. The goal is to reduce uncertainty. And when an existing IbiFoundry asset is relevant, Dr. Simon Says AI can connect the answer directly into our wider knowledge network. That means a WAEC query can continue into the complete WAEC registration guide. A suspicious relationship can continue into Ibi-Verify. A freelance beginner can continue into the free Freelance to $1K lesson. A company needing visibility can continue into our SEO services, content marketing services or website design service. That is why I describe Dr. Simon Says AI as more than a text box. The search bar is the doorway. The connected decision system behind it is the product. Ibi-Aid: turn a confusing search into one clear next move If you have a real question sitting in your head right now, do not manufacture a “perfect prompt.” Ask it exactly the way you would ask me if we were sitting together. Ask Dr. Simon Says AI now → What happens when you ask Dr. Simon Says AI a question? ↑ Back to Table of Contents Let us use a simple example. Suppose you type: “How can I register WAEC 2026?” I am using this as an illustrative example of the intended decision journey, not as a substitute for checking current official WAEC information. The first thing the system should recognise is that you are probably not asking for the history of WAEC. You have an action problem. You want to register. That means the answer should quickly move toward what matters: Your registration route. Your timing. Your required information. Your subject choices. Your payment risk. Your preparation. And the places where students commonly make mistakes. The response might first explain the registration route in plain language. Then it should warn you against unofficial agents, fake payment instructions or so-called “expo” promises. Then it should tell you which facts can change and therefore need current official confirmation. Then it can connect you to our WAEC registration, fees and deadline guide. If JAMB is likely to become the next step, it can also surface my JAMB success blueprint. That is already more useful than answering the first literal sentence and disappearing. Now take another query: “Is this Nigerian online relationship real or a scam?” That is completely different. The engine should not begin by recommending products. It should begin with protection. Do not send more money merely because somebody creates urgency. Preserve screenshots. Preserve names and phone numbers. Do not delete conversations. Separate what you independently verified from what the person merely told you. Watch for repeated emergencies. Watch for resistance to reasonable verification. Then, because this is a real-world identity and trust problem that may exceed what an AI response can prove, the natural next route is Ibi-Verify. Different search. Different intent. Different warning. Different CTA. That is exactly how I want the system to behave. Now consider: “How can I get freelance clients from Nigeria?” The person's real problem may not be platforms at all. Perhaps there is no portfolio. No positioning. No niche. No clear offer. No outreach system. No proof. In that case, giving them a list of 25 freelance websites may make them feel productive without actually improving their chances. A decision-first answer should help the person diagnose the bottleneck. If they are a beginner, I would naturally route them first to my free Freelance to $1K lesson. If they are already serious about structured one-on-one guidance, the next step may eventually become my premium freelance coaching. If the problem is specifically pricing, they should not be sent to a generic homepage when there is a more exact pricing resource. The principle is simple: Deep page before homepage. Relevant resource before random offer. Safety before sales. Teaching before selling. That is the experience I want every Dr. Simon Says AI search to move toward. Why I call Dr. Simon Says AI Naija-first rather than Nigeria-only ↑ Back to Table of Contents “Naija-first” is an important part of how I think about this project, but I do not want the phrase misunderstood. It does not mean Dr. Simon Says AI should only answer Nigerian questions. It does not mean the rest of Africa is an afterthought. And it certainly does not mean an international user should receive a lower-quality experience. Naija-first means we refuse to build as though everybody on the internet lives in the same economic, cultural and infrastructural environment. Let me give you a simple example. Someone in Nigeria asking: “How can I receive international freelance payments?” may be dealing with payment access, exchange rates, bank restrictions, documentation, platform availability and fees that are completely different from the assumptions inside a generic American freelance guide. Someone asking: “Should I install solar?” may not be making a lifestyle choice about reducing a little electricity consumption. They may be dealing with several hours of grid outage. Battery replacement cost. Inverter size. Local technicians. Panel availability. And the difference between powering a fan and powering an entire house. That is a different decision context. Someone searching: “Can I tour Taraba safely?” does not need a robotic paragraph that merely lists attractions. They may need local movement context, transport, realistic planning and somebody on ground. That is why we built Tour Taraba with IbiFoundry. Someone asking whether an online Nigerian relationship is trustworthy may need cultural understanding without falling into the opposite error of stereotyping every Nigerian person as suspicious. That requires nuance. Someone comparing PiggyVest and Cowrywise wants a Nigerian investment context, not a lecture about a savings product that is unavailable to them. That is why IbiFoundry already has a dedicated PiggyVest vs Cowrywise guide. Context is not decoration. Context changes the decision. But here is the beautiful thing. When you build from a real place, you often discover universal human problems. The student in Jalingo afraid of missing a deadline is not emotionally different from a student in Ghana or Kenya facing another examination system. The Nigerian freelancer trying to prove value has much in common with a freelancer in Pakistan, India, South Africa or the Philippines. The woman in Europe wondering whether an online lover is telling the truth is experiencing a universal trust problem. The founder in Taraba struggling to become visible online has the same basic desire as a founder in Manchester: “Please, let the right people find me and trust what they find.” So I begin locally. Then I expand globally. Naija-first. Africa-aware. Human-focused. And, God willing, useful anywhere. What can Dr. Simon Says AI help you decide? ↑ Back to Table of Contents One of the easiest mistakes we could make is positioning Dr. Simon Says AI as if it only understands “AI questions.” That would waste the entire idea. The technology is the infrastructure. Your problem is the subject. Here are some of the areas I am deliberately building into the broader Dr. Simon Says AI and IbiFoundry knowledge ecosystem. Education and examination decisions You can ask about WAEC. JAMB. Admission. University choices. Study preparation. Registration confusion. The engine should help distinguish educational guidance from facts that must be confirmed with the relevant official institution. Freelancing and online income You can ask how to choose a freelance skill. How to identify a client. How to create a portfolio. How to price. How to approach potential clients. How to escape the endless Fiverr-and-Upwork-refresh cycle. The point is not to promise overnight income. The point is to help you build something commercially sensible. SEO and website visibility You can ask why your website is not ranking. What an SEO audit should contain. How content fits into ranking. Why your Wix sitemap matters. How internal linking works. What AI visibility means. And when you actually need professional implementation rather than another tutorial. My deeper resources include our IbiFoundry SEO agency, content marketing service and website design service. Scam, fraud and relationship verification This is one category where I want Dr. Simon Says AI to be especially cautious. Scammers exploit urgency. Fear. Romance. Greed. Embarrassment. Authority. And the very human desire to believe somebody we care about. If something feels suspicious, you can begin with our detailed Nigerian scam tactics guide. If the issue involves a cryptocurrency wallet, our Trust Wallet hacked guide may be relevant. If it involves an online relationship, Ibi-Verify is the deeper route. Nigerian finance and digital services People want help comparing savings tools. Payment apps. International payment options. Investment platforms. Online shopping services. But financial information can change, so the engine should separate general education from regulated financial advice and current product terms. Technology, Starlink and solar You can ask about connectivity. Equipment choices. Installation questions. Common mistakes. And whether an IbiFoundry service fits your situation. We have dedicated pages for Starlink installation and solar installation. Taraba, Ibi, tourism and Nigerian knowledge You can ask about Taraba State. Jalingo. Wukari. Ibi. Nigerian tribes. Culture. Tourism. Local opportunities. And the kinds of overlooked builders I increasingly want IbiFoundry to document. Business and entrepreneurship You can ask: Should I build a website? Should I run ads yet? What offer should I sell? What should my landing page contain? How do I build trust online? How should a small Nigerian company think about content? What should I automate? The engine should reduce these questions into decisions rather than throwing forty marketing tactics at you. That is the larger ambition. Not an AI that knows one subject. A connected decision layer over a growing body of practical knowledge. Free IbiFounder resource: The Stop Searching Decision Checklist™ Before you search again, ask yourself five things: What am I actually trying to decide? What fact could completely change this decision? What is the worst avoidable mistake here? Which information must come from an official or qualified source? What is the smallest sensible next action I can take today? That five-question habit alone can dramatically improve the quality of the questions you ask any AI tool. Dr. Simon Says AI vs Google Search ↑ Back to Table of Contents Google and Dr. Simon Says AI are not trying to solve exactly the same problem. Google Search is one of the world's major discovery systems, and modern Google Search now includes AI experiences that can answer complex questions, handle follow-ups and connect users to information across the web. I use Google. I study Google. A significant part of my professional work has revolved around understanding how businesses become discoverable through Google. So this is not one of those comparison articles where I have to insult the bigger product so mine can sound important. Google's extraordinary strength is access to the web. Dr. Simon Says AI's intended strength is decision context around a narrower IbiFoundry knowledge and action ecosystem. If you ask Google: “Best solar installers in Nigeria” Google can expose you to companies, maps, websites, reviews, ads, videos and other useful sources. That discovery power matters. If you ask Dr. Simon Says AI: “I live in Jalingo, I have unreliable electricity and I need a solar setup for my home, what should I think about before paying an installer?” the experience should concentrate on your decision: Expected load. Battery expectations. Budget. Installation risk. Questions to ask. Mistakes to avoid. Then, if it genuinely fits, it can route you into IbiFoundry solar installation. So my preferred framing is not: Dr. Simon Says AI replaces Google. It is: Google can help you search the web; Dr. Simon Says AI is being designed to help you navigate a decision and then connect you to the next useful action. Different centre of gravity. I have prepared an entire supporting comparison for this because the distinction deserves more detail: Related guide: Dr. Simon Says AI vs Google Search — coming next in this knowledge series. Dr. Simon Says AI vs ChatGPT ↑ Back to Table of Contents ChatGPT is far broader than Dr. Simon Says AI. That is the first thing to understand. ChatGPT can help with writing, research, coding, analysis, learning, brainstorming, file work and many other general-purpose tasks, and ChatGPT Search can also search the web for timely information and provide citations or relevant source links. Dr. Simon Says AI is narrower by design. Its intended personality, knowledge routing and conversion architecture begin from a particular founder, company, geography and philosophy. Dr. Simon Taki Zaku. IbiFoundry. Nigeria. Taraba. Decision-first thinking. Trust-first recommendations. Existing IbiFoundry resources. Human escalation. Think of the difference this way. You might ask ChatGPT: “Give me 20 ways to get freelance clients.” And a capable answer may give you twenty genuinely useful ideas. Dr. Simon Says AI should instead ask a deeper internal question: “Which one or two of those twenty actually fit this person's current stage?” If you have no portfolio, maybe your immediate bottleneck is proof. If you have proof but nobody knows you exist, perhaps it is outreach. If clients respond but never buy, maybe the problem is positioning or pricing. If you already have clients but cannot retain them, another acquisition tactic may be a distraction. The point is not that ChatGPT cannot reason like this. It can. The difference is that Dr. Simon Says AI is being deliberately organised so this decision behaviour is the default product experience rather than one of thousands of possible uses. That distinction will become even clearer in the dedicated comparison: Related guide: Dr. Simon Says AI vs ChatGPT — coming next in this knowledge series. What about Gemini, Google AI Mode and Perplexity? ↑ Back to Table of Contents The AI search landscape is moving far too quickly for me to build Dr. Simon Says AI around outdated stereotypes. Google says AI Mode is designed for complex and multi-part questions, comparisons and follow-ups, and its Africa rollout brought this AI search experience directly into markets including ours. Perplexity describes itself as an answer engine that searches the web and synthesises information into direct, current responses with sources, while still encouraging users to double-check important information. ChatGPT Search also combines conversational answers with timely web information and source citations. So the internet is already moving from: Find pages. Toward: Understand information. And increasingly toward: Complete tasks. That means Dr. Simon Says AI cannot win simply by saying: “Look, my AI gives answers!” Everybody gives answers now. It has to earn usefulness elsewhere. Context. Trust. Decision architecture. Local knowledge. Strong routing. Human escalation. And a connected ecosystem behind each answer. That is the opportunity. I do not need Dr. Simon Says AI to become everything. I need it to become unusually useful for the problems it chooses to own. Can you trust Dr. Simon Says AI? ↑ Back to Table of Contents Please listen to me carefully here. Do not blindly trust Dr. Simon Says AI. Yes. I built the thing and I am telling you that myself. Do not blindly trust ChatGPT either. Do not blindly trust Google AI Overviews. Do not blindly trust Gemini. Do not blindly trust Perplexity. Do not blindly trust a TikTok expert. Do not blindly trust a WhatsApp broadcast. And please do not blindly trust Dr. Simon Taki Zaku simply because “Dr.” is in front of my name. Trust should come from evidence. OpenAI itself tells users that AI systems can be wrong and recommends checking important information, especially quotes, data, technical information and external references. Perplexity similarly encourages users to double-check sources even while positioning its product around current, sourced answers. That humility must also exist here. There are several reasons. Information changes WAEC deadlines change. Government rules change. Prices change. Investment product terms change. Exchange rates change. Software changes. Politicians change. Company executives change. Travel security conditions change. A good answer from six months ago can become a dangerous answer today. AI can misunderstand you You may leave out the most important detail. The system may interpret your intent incorrectly. A question that sounds financial may actually be legal. A relationship question may involve coercion. A health question may involve symptoms that require urgent medical attention. The answer is only as useful as the information and context available. Sources can disagree Sometimes there is no clean single answer. Different credible sources can disagree. A responsible system should not hide that disagreement merely because users prefer certainty. High-risk decisions require a higher bar If you are about to send ₦5 million to somebody, “the AI said it seems okay” is not due diligence. If you are about to take medication, an AI response is not your medical prescription. If you are signing a serious contract, an AI summary is not a substitute for qualified legal review. If you are making a major investment decision, you need appropriate financial and regulatory context. If you suspect fraud, preservation of evidence and contact with appropriate financial institutions or authorities may matter more than reading another article. Recommendations can have commercial relationships This is another trust issue I want to be transparent about. Some IbiFoundry resources are our own products or services. Some tools we may recommend can involve affiliate relationships. That does not automatically make the recommendation bad. But the recommendation should still be relevant first. If an IbiFoundry service does not solve your problem, Dr. Simon Says AI should not force it into the answer. If an affiliate tool is irrelevant, commission is not a reason to recommend it. Usefulness first. This is why my preferred trust model is: AI suggests. Evidence supports. You decide. Humans step in where humans are needed. And if Dr. Simon Says AI ever becomes confident enough to stop admitting uncertainty, then we will have made it worse rather than better. What Dr. Simon Says AI should never replace ↑ Back to Table of Contents AI can be extraordinarily useful without pretending to be everybody. That boundary matters. It should not replace your doctor Dr. Simon Says AI can help you understand general health information. It can help you prepare questions. It can explain terminology. It can encourage you to seek care. But it should not diagnose a medical emergency from a casual paragraph and then act as though a clinician is unnecessary. It should not replace your lawyer It can explain general legal concepts. It can help you organise a document. It can identify questions worth asking. But serious legal rights, contracts, criminal matters, immigration issues and litigation deserve qualified legal advice in the relevant jurisdiction. It should not replace regulated financial advice It can explain financial concepts. Compare publicly available product information. Help you understand risk. But your complete financial circumstances matter. An AI should not turn “what is PiggyVest?” into “put all your money here.” It should not replace official government and examination authorities If an examination body's official deadline differs from an IbiFoundry article, the official authority wins. If an immigration rule changes, the current government source wins. If a regulator changes a requirement, the regulator wins. This is exactly why current-data queries need current verification. It should not replace emergency services If somebody is in immediate danger, suffering a medical emergency, facing violence or dealing with an urgent security threat, the job of the AI is not to keep the person chatting for engagement metrics. The job is to recognise that the conversation has crossed into a situation requiring immediate real-world help. It should not replace your own judgement This may be the biggest one. Technology can strengthen judgement. It should not delete it. Ask questions. Check sources. Compare. Slow down when money or emotion is involved. Notice when somebody is creating artificial urgency. Ask for evidence. Be willing to change your mind. And remember: The output is a recommendation. Your life is the decision. Why Dr. Simon Says AI recommends IbiFoundry pages, tools and human help ↑ Back to Table of Contents This part of Dr. Simon Says AI becomes much easier to understand when you stop imagining IbiFoundry as a normal blog. I want IbiFoundry to become a connected knowledge institution. One question connects to another. One article connects to a framework. One framework connects to a service. One service connects to proof. One course connects to another learning step. One AI answer connects to the exact resource that can help the person continue. That is the idea. Suppose you ask: “How do I start freelancing in Nigeria?” We already have an appropriate free Freelance to $1K lesson. Why send you to a generic homepage? Suppose you ask: “How do I verify the Nigerian man I met online?” We already built Ibi-Verify. Why show you hosting software? Suppose your question is: “How do I grow organic traffic?” That naturally connects to our SEO services, business blogging services and deeper SEO articles. Suppose you ask about Taraba tourism. That belongs with Tour Taraba. The recommendation should make semantic sense. This is important commercially too. I am not ashamed that IbiFoundry is a business. Businesses need revenue. People need jobs. Technology needs infrastructure. Content costs time and money to create. But there is a correct order. Teach. Build trust. Offer relevant help. Invite action. Selling something useful after helping someone understand a problem is completely different from forcing an unrelated product into every answer. And sometimes the right recommendation will be free. Read an article. Watch a video. Ask another question. Check an official source. Download a guide. Sometimes the recommendation will be commercial. Book an SEO service. Join coaching. Order content. Start verification. Hire the team. Sometimes no IbiFoundry product should appear at all. That discipline matters. Because if every path mysteriously ends with: “BUY SOMETHING FROM US!” then Dr. Simon Says AI is not a decision engine. It is an advertisement wearing an AI costume. I am not interested in building that. Ibi-Offers or Ibi-Products for your next decision If your question is about freelancing, begin with the free Freelance to $1K lesson before considering the premium coaching route. If your problem is business visibility, explore IbiFoundry SEO, Ibi-Writes content marketing or website design, depending on the actual bottleneck. If your problem involves online relationship doubt or possible identity deception, begin with Ibi-Verify. And if you do not yet know which path fits, that is exactly what the AI is there to help you clarify. Ask Dr. Simon Says AI → Try these Dr. Simon Says AI searches ↑ Back to Table of Contents Do not overthink the prompt. Ask naturally. Here are some useful starting points: “How can I register WAEC 2026 without using the wrong agent?” “How can I prepare for JAMB if I have only three months left?” “I am a Nigerian beginner with no freelance experience; what skill should I learn first?” “How much should I charge my first freelance client?” “Why is my website not ranking on Google?” “Should I hire an SEO agency or learn SEO myself first?” “Is this Nigerian online relationship genuine or are there red flags?” “Someone says they can recover my stolen crypto if I pay first; what should I do?” “PiggyVest vs Cowrywise: which one makes more sense for my situation?” “Is Temu safe to use from Nigeria?” “Should I buy Starlink in Nigeria?” “Should I install solar now or keep using my current power setup?” “What should I check before paying a Nigerian online vendor?” “How can I build a website that actually generates leads?” “What is the fastest sensible way to improve my business visibility online?” “Can I safely visit Taraba State as a first-time visitor?” “Who exactly is Dr. Simon Taki Zaku and why should I trust IbiFoundry?” There is no magic incantation. Ask your real question. Then improve it with context. For example, instead of: “Solar?” try: “I live in Jalingo, I want solar for four fans, lights, television, refrigerator and laptops, and my budget is limited; what should I consider first?” Better context gives better decisions. Run your own Dr. Simon Says AI search now → Frequently asked questions about Dr. Simon Says AI ↑ Back to Table of Contents What exactly is Dr. Simon Says AI? Dr. Simon Says AI — Decision Engine™ is a Naija-first IbiFoundry AI experience designed to help users move from a search question toward clearer understanding, practical warnings and an appropriate next action. Its core philosophy is Search → Diagnosis → Decision → Warning → Action, with relevant IbiFoundry resources or human support introduced when they genuinely help the user continue. Is Dr. Simon Says AI a search engine or chatbot? I describe it primarily as a Decision Engine™ rather than trying to force it into one older category. It can use conversational AI and search-oriented behaviour, but its intended product focus is what happens after the question: understanding the user's likely intent, reducing noise, surfacing risks and helping the person identify what to do next. Is Dr. Simon Says AI free? The central search experience is intended to be freely accessible, while some recommendations may naturally point toward optional paid IbiFoundry products or services when those are relevant to the user's problem. A paid recommendation should not be presented merely because IbiFoundry can make money from it. How is Dr. Simon Says AI different from ChatGPT? ChatGPT is a broad general-purpose AI product that can assist with a very wide range of tasks and can also search the web for timely information with sources. Dr. Simon Says AI is intentionally narrower, with a Dr. Simon/IbiFoundry knowledge graph, Nigerian and African context, decision-oriented responses, contextual warnings and routing toward relevant IbiFoundry resources or human support. How is Dr. Simon Says AI different from Google Search? Google is an enormous discovery and search platform whose current AI experiences can also answer complex questions and follow-ups. Dr. Simon Says AI is designed around a smaller, opinionated decision journey where the main objective is not discovering everything on the web but helping the user decide the most useful next step within the problem being discussed. Does Dr. Simon Says AI search the live internet? Whether live web retrieval is used can depend on the deployed version and infrastructure available at the time you use the product, so users should not assume every answer automatically reflects real-time internet data. For deadlines, regulations, prices, current office-holders, security conditions and other changing facts, current sources should always be verified. Can Dr. Simon Says AI help with WAEC, JAMB, scams, freelancing and Nigerian business questions? Those are exactly the kinds of areas the IbiFoundry knowledge ecosystem is being built around. However, the quality of the answer still depends on the available information, and official or professional sources remain necessary where the subject requires them. Can I trust every answer from Dr. Simon Says AI? No. Use the answer as decision support, inspect important sources, verify current facts and seek qualified human help for high-stakes medical, legal, financial, security or other professional matters. Blind trust would contradict the purpose of building a trust-first system. Who built Dr. Simon Says AI? I am Dr. Simon Taki Zaku, Founder and CEO of IbiFoundry Limited, from Taraba State, Nigeria. You can read more about my work and the wider mission on the official About Dr. Simon Taki Zaku and What Is IbiFoundry? pages. Why does Dr. Simon Says AI sometimes recommend another article, service or WhatsApp conversation? Because one AI response should not pretend to be the end of every problem. If a dedicated guide teaches the subject better, a verification service can investigate something the AI cannot prove, or a human conversation is genuinely the better next step, routing you there is part of the decision rather than a failure of the AI. You have searched enough: what do you need to decide? ↑ Back to Table of Contents I want to end where we started. You probably did not arrive on this page because you woke up excited to study the philosophical differences between search engines, answer engines and decision engines. You wanted to understand one thing: “What exactly is this Dr. Simon Says AI?” Now you know. It is my attempt to build a more human bridge between information and action. Not a replacement for Google. Not a replacement for ChatGPT. Not a replacement for human expertise. And certainly not an oracle that should be trusted blindly. It is a decision experience. You bring the problem. The system tries to diagnose what you actually need. It helps you understand the useful part. It warns you about obvious traps. It recommends a sensible next move. And where IbiFoundry already has something that can take you further, it connects you there. That is the product. But there is also a bigger idea beneath the product. I believe the future internet will not be won simply by whoever publishes the most information. Information is becoming abundant. AI can generate more of it before you finish drinking one cup of tea. The harder problem is becoming: What deserves my attention? What should I believe? What applies to me? What risk am I missing? What should I do next? Those are human questions. And that is why my ambition for Dr. Simon Says AI remains human. Technology should reduce confusion. Not create a more impressive form of confusion. AI should help you think. Not teach you to stop thinking. A recommendation should reduce uncertainty. Not pressure you into somebody else's sales target. And every answer should try to leave you a little wiser than you were before you asked. So, my friend, enough explanation. You now know what Dr. Simon Says AI is. The better question is: What do you need to decide today? Stop Searching. Start Deciding. Ask Dr. Simon Says AI now → Prefer a real human conversation? I built IbiFoundry around a simple belief: knowledge becomes much more valuable when somebody can actually use it. That belief eventually led me here. At IBI Africa, my position is simple: when somebody serving our people does something that can be seen, verified and connected to human impact, we should be mature enough to acknowledge it. When questions need to be asked, we should be equally courageous enough to ask them. That standard should apply to everybody. APC. PDP. ADC. Any other party. Government. Opposition. Elected officials. Appointed officials. If the work is good, let us document it. If the numbers are claimed, let us verify them. If something has not been completed, let us say so. If we get something wrong, let us correct it. That is the spirit in which I write this open letter. Dear Distinguished Senator David S.U. Jimkuta, Sir, You do not know me personally. In a funny way, that is probably one of the strongest reasons I decided to write this letter. Nobody called me from your office. Nobody commissioned this article. Nobody sent me a talking point. Nobody told IBI Africa to praise Senator Jimkuta. I am simply a Taraba son watching another Taraba son who presently carries the responsibility of representing an entire senatorial district. And from where I am standing, I believe some things deserve to be said publicly. The official website of Nigeria's National Assembly currently identifies Senator David Jimkuta as the senator representing Taraba South Senatorial District in the 10th National Assembly and lists him as a member of the All Progressives Congress. That is the office. But an office title alone has never impressed me very much. I am far more interested in another question: What can ordinary people point to after a public servant has occupied an office? Not posters. Not campaign songs. Not convoys. Not photographs of politicians sitting together. Not grammar. Not promises recycled from one political season to another. I mean something a farmer can touch. Something a student can use. Something a young entrepreneur can turn into income. Something a community can see. Something that remains there when the banners have disappeared. That is the standard I have tried to bring to this letter. And from the publicly available evidence I have examined, together with things I have heard personally from people on the ground, I believe Distinguished Senator David S.U. Jimkuta has created enough visible footprints to deserve serious public documentation. Not worship. Not propaganda. Documentation. There is a difference. So, Distinguished Senator, from one Taraba son whom you may never have met, here are twelve reasons I believe your record deserves to be documented. 1. Because empowerment becomes meaningful when people can physically see it One problem with Nigerian politics is that figures can sometimes become too easy to announce. Billions begin to sound like ordinary English. A politician says ₦500 million. Another says ₦2 billion. Another announces ₦10 billion. Everybody claps, journalists publish the figure, social media moves on, and three weeks later nobody can properly explain what the money actually produced. That is why I am interested in physical evidence. BusinessDay reported that Senator Jimkuta distributed empowerment materials valued at approximately ₦2 billion to constituents in Taraba South. That figure is significant. But the figure is not actually the most interesting part to me. The more important question is: What did ₦2 billion become in the hands of real human beings? Did it become somebody's transport business? Did it become a tailoring shop? Did it become agricultural production? Did it become an irrigation business? Did it help somebody stop waiting endlessly for a government appointment? Those questions matter because good empowerment should ultimately produce independence, not political dependency. I am one of those Nigerians who believes that our definition of empowerment itself needs to mature. Empowerment should not merely mean gathering people under a canopy, sharing items, taking photographs and going home. The real story begins the following morning. What did the beneficiary do with the item? What happened six months later? What happened after one year? How many people did that beneficiary employ? How much additional income entered the household? Did the business survive? Did the machine remain functional? Those are the stories I believe the next generation of Taraba media should tell. And that is one reason this article is not merely me saying, “Well done, Senator.” I am also saying: Sir, let us document the second half of the story. If 500 people received productive assets, let us go back and meet some of them. Let them speak. Let us photograph the businesses. Let us document failures too. Let us find out which interventions genuinely transformed lives and which ones require redesign. That kind of documentation is not an attack on a politician. It is actually one of the greatest gifts serious media can give public leadership. Because once results are properly documented, rumour becomes less powerful. The work can speak. 2. Because 70 cars, 40 tricycle pickups and 150 motorcycles are difficult to hide This is where the story became very interesting to me personally. BusinessDay reported that the empowerment exercise included 70 cars, 40 tricycle pickups and 150 motorcycles. Those are not abstract items. They move around. People see them. I see them. Families know who received them. Communities know whether beneficiaries exist. And that reminds me of a statement from my cousin brother Samuel that made me laugh seriously when I heard it. His point was essentially this: If you stand somewhere along the road in Wukari for five or ten minutes, chances are you will see two or three cars connected to Senator Jimkuta's empowerment programme passing by. Now, please, nobody should turn Samuel's roadside observation into a peer-reviewed statistical study. It was a family conversation. It made me laugh. But behind the humour was something powerful. Visible development creates witnesses. You can argue with a press release. You can fight over a Facebook post. You can accuse a politician's media team of exaggerating. But when a beneficiary you personally know is driving a vehicle he received, the conversation changes. That does not mean every distribution programme is automatically excellent. It does not answer whether beneficiaries were selected fairly. It does not tell us whether the assets were allocated according to transparent criteria. Those remain legitimate questions for journalists and constituents. But it does mean there is something tangible enough to investigate. And I like that. I would love IBI Africa to eventually turn this into a proper human-interest series. Not: “Senator gives cars.” We already know that headline. I want: “One year later: what happened to the people who received the cars?” Meet the driver. Meet his wife. Meet his children. Ask what he was doing before. Ask what he earns now. Ask whether the vehicle changed his life or simply gave him a temporary asset. Ask whether he has employed another person. Ask what has broken down. Ask what he wishes government understood about ordinary working people. That is media I can respect. That is public accountability I can defend. And that is the difference between political publicity and development journalism. 3. Because the productive equipment may matter even more than the vehicles Cars naturally attract attention. Motorcycles photograph well. Tricycles are obvious. But some of the quieter items reported from the empowerment exercise may ultimately have greater economic value to individual households. BusinessDay reported 100 sewing machines, 40 industrial sewing machines, 25 car-washing machines, 30 irrigation pumping machines and 100 grinding machines among the equipment distributed. That interests me. Because I am a builder. My mind naturally moves from “What was given?” to “What can this become?” A sewing machine is not simply a machine. In the right hands, it can become a shop. A shop can become an apprentice. An apprentice can become another business owner. A grinding machine can become daily household income. An irrigation pump can extend agricultural productivity beyond what rainfall alone permits. An industrial sewing machine can increase the scale of an already existing tailor. That is how I prefer to think about empowerment. Not as gifts. As economic infrastructure at household level. But again, the real test is not distribution day. The real test is multiplication. If IBI Africa documents these interventions, one question I would insist on asking beneficiaries is: “What has this item produced since you received it?” That question changes everything. A politician can distribute one hundred sewing machines. But if seventy are lying unused six months later, we need to know. If ninety are producing income, we should also know. If ten beneficiaries have each employed two apprentices, that is a story. If one young woman used hers to move from unemployment into a thriving fashion business, that story deserves to travel far beyond Taraba. This is one of the areas where I believe public officers themselves should begin improving how they communicate impact. Do not only show us distribution. Show us transformation. Before. After. Income. Jobs. Businesses created. Businesses expanded. Farm yields. Students graduated. Communities connected. That is how development becomes measurable. That is how a public servant builds a record that does not require social-media shouting to defend it. 4. Because agriculture cannot be treated like a side project in Southern Taraba There are some places where agricultural intervention is optional. Taraba is not one of them. Agriculture is tied directly to livelihoods, household income, food security and the economic identity of many communities across our state. BusinessDay reported that beneficiaries across the five local government areas of Taraba South received agricultural inputs including fertiliser and pesticides, alongside other support intended to boost farming activities. The same report quoted a beneficiary describing how those inputs supported her farming activities. That matters. But there is an even bigger conversation emerging. In July 2026, public posts associated with Senator Jimkuta's activities indicated preparations for another agricultural empowerment exercise involving tractors and other farm machinery. Because I have not yet found sufficiently independent documentation establishing the final number actually distributed, I will deliberately not manufacture a tractor figure for this article. That is important. There is nothing wrong with saying: “We are still verifying this.” In fact, Nigerian media needs more of those five words. So when IBI Africa eventually publishes a specific tractor number, I want us to be able to show the machines, beneficiaries, locations and programme records behind that number. That will make the story stronger. My interest in tractors is particularly serious because mechanisation can have effects far beyond one beneficiary. A car may principally serve one owner. A tractor can potentially serve multiple farms. It can reduce manual labour. It can increase the area cultivated. It can improve timeliness during planting. It can become a business itself when properly managed. So if tractors are being distributed or deployed under this programme, I would encourage the Senator's office to make the records exceptionally clear. How many? What models? Who owns them? Where are they located? How are farmers accessing them? Are they personal gifts or community assets? What is the maintenance plan? What prevents one powerful person from monopolising a machine intended for many farmers? Those are not hostile questions. They are the questions that turn a good intervention into a durable institution. Senator, if those answers are strong, publish them. Let Taraba see. 5. Because sending 40 young people abroad to study can outlive an election cycle This may be one of the most consequential things I discovered while researching this letter. BusinessDay reported that 40 young people drawn from the five local government areas in Taraba South received international scholarships to study medical and engineering courses in India. Forty people. Now forget politics for a moment. Think about forty families. Think about forty young Nigerians arriving in another country to study. Think about who some of them may become in ten years. A doctor. An engineer. A researcher. A hospital administrator. A founder. A lecturer. A specialist whose expertise does not yet exist in his or her local community. The effect of educational investment is sometimes frustrating because it does not produce the instant visual drama of commissioning a building. A scholarship student does not become a doctor next Tuesday. You may wait years. But that is precisely why I respect long-horizon interventions. They force leadership to invest in something whose complete reward may arrive after that leader has left office. The geographic spread is also worth recording. BusinessDay reported the 40 beneficiaries as 10 from Wukari, nine from Donga, five from Ibi, five from Ussa and 11 from Takum. That distribution matters because representation must extend beyond one's immediate hometown or political stronghold. But again, there is an even better story waiting to be told. Who are these 40 people? What are their names? What exactly are they studying? Which institutions? What is the value and duration of each scholarship? What obligations exist after graduation? Could some eventually return to strengthen healthcare, engineering, technology and education in Taraba? Imagine an IBI Africa documentary five years from now titled: “The Jimkuta 40: Where Are They Now?” That is the kind of historical record I mean when I say public service deserves documentation. Politics will come and go. But forty trained human beings may continue serving society for four decades. 6. Because investing in a library is an unusual political statement — and I like unusual Anybody who knows even a little about my life knows this point would get my attention. Books changed my life. The Internet changed my life. Knowledge changed my life. Learning has taken me into rooms my background alone might never have taken me. So when I began seeing reports around the redevelopment of the public library in Wukari, I paid attention. Nigerian Tribune reported in March 2025 that Senator Jimkuta had transformed the Wukari State Library into an e-library as part of education-focused interventions attributed to his office. I deliberately use the phrase “reported” here because one of the things I want IBI Africa to do is physically document the facility independently. I want photographs. I want to enter the building. I want to see the books. I want to see the computers. I want to know Internet availability. I want to know opening hours. I want to know who manages it. I want to ask students whether they actually use it. That is the standard. But conceptually, I love the idea. A politician can distribute rice and everybody understands it immediately. A library is different. A library is a statement about what you believe human beings can become. Its greatest beneficiary may be a sixteen-year-old boy nobody currently knows. He may enter that building because he has nowhere else to study. He may discover a book. That book may lead to another idea. That idea may eventually create something that employs hundreds of people. Nobody may ever connect his future success to the afternoon he walked into that library. That is how knowledge works. Quietly. Slowly. Then suddenly. This is why I say development must not only solve today's pain. It should expand tomorrow's possibilities. So, Distinguished Senator, this is one intervention I particularly hope is maintained beyond renovation photographs. Keep it functional. Keep it connected. Keep the books current. Keep the technology working. And, importantly, let the institution remain useful even when nobody is campaigning. 7. Because serious representation also means fighting for infrastructure larger than one senator's office There is another area where I want this letter to be extremely careful. The Wukari–Akwana road has appeared repeatedly in political commentary around representation in Southern Taraba. Earlier commentary circulated a figure of approximately ₦6.4 billion. However, when I checked more recent reporting on the Federal Executive Council decision, The Guardian reported that FEC approved the Wukari–Akwana Road in Taraba State at ₦12.615 billion with a 12-month duration as part of a wider package of federal road contracts announced in March 2025. That is the figure I am comfortable publishing today. Here is where media discipline matters. A federal road is not a personal project belonging to a senator. Federal projects involve ministries, budgets, procurement processes, contractors, executive approvals and public resources. Therefore, I do not want to reduce a federal road to the simplistic political language of: “Senator X built it.” That is not how government works. But representation does involve advocacy. Representatives are expected to raise constituency priorities, engage ministries and agencies, push projects, follow up and make sure communities are not forgotten in Abuja. That is where I believe citizens should ask their representatives for evidence. Tell us what you advocated for. Tell us when. Show us correspondence where appropriate. Tell us what stage the project has reached. Tell us who the contractor is. Tell us what is delaying it. And let independent media verify the physical progress. That is healthy democracy. For IBI Africa, the bigger opportunity is obvious: We should go to that road. Document it periodically. Same camera positions. Same locations. Month after month. Then nobody needs a press conference to tell citizens whether work is progressing. The images will answer. That is the kind of simple digital accountability system we can build from Taraba. 8. Because electricity can change the economic mathematics of an entire community Several public reports have also associated Senator Jimkuta's representation with electricity projects intended to connect communities including Kyaor, Jandikula, Riti, Ando Igba, Sondi, Vaase and Kente to the national grid. Nigerian Tribune reported those communities in its March 2025 account of projects attributed to the senator. Again, I would like independent physical verification before IBI Africa describes every community as fully energised. There is a big difference between: A contract being awarded. Poles being erected. Cables being installed. A transformer arriving. A project being technically completed. And households actually receiving reliable electricity. Nigeria has taught us those are not always the same thing. So I am interested in the last mile. Turn on the bulb. Show us the businesses using the power. Talk to residents. That is evidence. Because electricity is not merely about lighting a room. Electricity changes economics. A barber works longer. A welder works more efficiently. A cold-room operator preserves food. A student studies after dark. A phone-charging business operates. A clinic stores temperature-sensitive supplies more reliably. Small digital businesses can function. Households spend less on some alternative power sources. That is why rural electrification deserves far more serious reporting than politicians standing beside transformers. If these communities are being connected, let us document the human consequences. And if some are still waiting, let us document that too. Giving credit and demanding completion can happen in the same newspaper article. Those two things are not enemies. 9. Because a senator is not only an empowerment distributor — he is a legislator This is where I believe Nigerian political discussion often becomes dangerously incomplete. We judge senators almost entirely by constituency projects and empowerment programmes. But the first word in “legislator” is not “empowerment.” A senator is sent to Abuja to legislate. So I went looking. The National Assembly's own Senate Bills Department records identify David S.U. Jimkuta as sponsor of SB. 452, the Federal University, Wukari (Establishment) Bill, 2024, introduced on 21 May 2024. The same National Assembly records identify him as sponsor of SB. 673, the Institute of Chartered Trustees of Nigeria (ICTN) (Establishment) Bill, 2024, introduced on 10 December 2024. The National Assembly's bill records also show his name against the Nigeria Tea Development Authority Bill, 2023. That immediately expands the conversation. Now we can ask better questions. What problems are those bills trying to solve? What stages have they reached? What arguments did the senator make for them? Which ones have progressed? Which ones stalled? Why? How do they affect Taraba? What has happened in committee? This is the political literacy I want us to build. I would love IBI Africa to begin producing simple “Know Your Representative” legislative scorecards. No insults. No propaganda. Just: Bills. Motions. Attendance where reliably available. Committee work. Constituency projects. Public expenditure records. Completed interventions. Outstanding promises. Then allow citizens to think for themselves. A stronger democracy is not created when media tells people what to think. It is created when media gives people enough verified information to think intelligently. 10. Because what interests me most is the possibility of moving from publicity to a verifiable public record Senator, this reason is less about one project and more about an opportunity. You already have enough publicly reported activity for people to debate your performance. But there is a major difference between having achievements and having a well-documented record of achievements. The Internet is changing politics. A young person should be able to search a representative's name and discover structured evidence. Projects. Dates. Locations. Budgets. Beneficiaries. Bills. Photographs. Progress updates. Independent reporting. Responses to criticism. Corrections. That is how trust is built in a digital age. It is something I think about constantly at IBIFOUNDRY because my work revolves around discoverability, digital trust and what I call the Searchcosystem™ — the full online trust environment around a person, organisation or business. Public leadership has a Searchcosystem too. When somebody hears Senator David Jimkuta's name and searches online, what does that person discover? Can the person's questions be answered? Can claims be verified? Can projects be located? Can legislative work be understood? Can beneficiaries be found? Can criticism be compared against documentary evidence? That is much bigger than social-media publicity. It is digital public record infrastructure. And whether it is Senator Jimkuta, Governor Agbu Kefas, a local government chairman, a minister, a member of the House of Representatives or somebody sitting in opposition, I believe Taraba deserves better digital documentation of public service. We should be able to disagree politically without losing our ability to verify facts. That is part of the future I want IBI Africa to help build. 11. Because the people working quietly behind public officials deserve acknowledgement too At this point, Distinguished Senator, permit me to leave the statistics for a moment. I want to acknowledge someone I know personally. Hon. Siman Ubandoma. My Big Brother. My Uncle Siman. My brother, I see you. The public usually sees the principal. They see Senator Jimkuta. They see the convoy. They see the event. They see the podium. They see the photographs. But people who have worked anywhere close to leadership understand there is another world behind the photograph. Phones. Messages. Requests. People arriving without notice. Constituents who believe every problem must be solved today. Protocol. Pressure. Criticism. Expectations. Emergencies. Misunderstandings. People who are happy with you. People who are angry with you. And somehow somebody behind the scenes has to keep working. So this is simply my public salute to you, Hon. Siman. Keep doing your best. Keep helping people gain responsible access. Keep telling the truth to your principal, including the truth he may not always enjoy hearing. Keep remembering ordinary people. Keep your phone open as much as human strength allows. Keep your integrity. And keep serving. Sometimes those closest to power become walls between leadership and the people. Do the opposite. Be a bridge. And when the workload becomes heavy, remember that somebody outside the office notices the effort. Big Brother Uncle Siman, kudos. May God strengthen you. 12. Because good work deserves documentation without turning journalists into praise singers This final reason is really why I wrote the entire letter. At IBI Africa, we are building something. Quietly. Patiently. From Taraba State. Our ambition is bigger than becoming another page that reposts whatever is trending. I want us to document our people. Our builders. Our businesses. Our institutions. Our public servants. Our hidden talents. Our problems. Our solutions. Our history while it is still happening. And I want us to do this without surrendering our independence. So, Senator Jimkuta, this is not an application to become your praise-singing machinery. It is something much more valuable. It is a public pledge: Where there is verifiable good work, we will not be afraid to document it. Where there are beneficiaries, we want to hear their stories. Where projects exist, we want to see them. Where figures are published, we want to interrogate them. Where claims are unclear, we will say they are unclear. Where something is unfinished, we will not call it completed. Where somebody deserves credit, we will give credit. And where corrections are necessary, we will correct ourselves publicly. Most importantly, we will extend the same principle to every public servant and political tendency in Taraba State. That is essential. IBI Africa cannot become credible by loving one politician and hating another. We become credible by loving evidence. That is the side I want us to take. The side of Taraba. The side of development. The side of truth. The side of work that can be verified. Distinguished Senator, consider this kudos from a distance Sir, Perhaps you have never heard the name Dr. Simon Taki Zaku before today. That is perfectly fine. Sometimes acknowledgement is even more meaningful when it comes from someone who was never asked to give it. I am simply watching. And what I have seen and what I have been able to verify is enough for me to say: Where the work is real, the work deserves acknowledgement. But I will add something else. Do not become satisfied with applause. Make verification easier. Publish better records. Show the numbers. Show the locations. Show the beneficiaries. Publish project status. Allow independent journalists to visit. Let critics ask questions. Answer with evidence. Because the strongest defence of public service is not an angry spokesperson. It is a record that can survive scrutiny. And that principle applies far beyond you. I would say exactly the same thing to Governor Agbu Kefas. I would say it to our National Assembly members. I would say it to chairmen. I would say it to commissioners. I would say it to APC leaders. I would say it to PDP leaders. I would say it to opposition candidates. Let the work become easier to verify. Nigeria has had enough personality politics. Let us gradually build evidence politics. One thing I want young people in Taraba to learn from this Do not allow political disagreement to destroy your ability to acknowledge reality. If somebody you dislike does something good, saying it is good does not make you weak. If somebody you support does something wrong, saying it is wrong does not make you a traitor. That is maturity. We need more of it. We need young Tarabans who can sit together, disagree strongly on candidates, parties and policies, and still agree that a functioning library is good. A scholarship is good if it is genuine and fairly administered. A completed road is good. Reliable electricity is good. A farmer becoming more productive is good. A young person building a sustainable business is good. We can argue about methods. We can argue about priorities. We can demand transparency. But development should not become bad merely because it came from “the other side.” Taraba is bigger than our political camps. My challenge to Senator Jimkuta's office Sir, this open letter comes with a friendly challenge. Make the documentation available. Let people see the complete list of major constituency interventions. Where possible, show: Project name. Location. Date. Current status. Responsible government agency. Approved budget where publicly available. Contractor where applicable. Number of beneficiaries. Selection process. Photographic documentation. Independent verification. For scholarship programmes, publish a transparent beneficiary framework while respecting legitimate privacy concerns. For agricultural programmes, document the machinery and where it is operating. For business empowerment, follow beneficiaries over time. For infrastructure, show progress rather than only commissioning photographs. For legislation, explain sponsored bills in language ordinary constituents can understand. That is how a political record becomes a public record. And public records outlive campaigns. An open invitation from IBI Africa This invitation is not only to Senator Jimkuta. It is to every serious public servant, institution, community leader, entrepreneur, professional and development organisation working in Taraba State. If you are doing something genuinely useful, make the evidence available. IBI Africa wants to tell stories that deserve to survive beyond Facebook posts. We want the farmer behind the statistic. The student behind the scholarship. The community behind the electrification project. The entrepreneur behind the empowerment programme. The patient behind the healthcare intervention. The engineer behind the bridge. The teacher behind the classroom. The young builder nobody knows yet. And we are particularly interested in stories that can be independently verified. That is the media institution we are building. Want IBI Africa to document a verifiable Taraba impact story? If you represent a public institution, private organisation, NGO, community initiative, business or individual doing measurable work in Taraba State or elsewhere in Nigeria, you can reach me directly. Documents. Project locations. Beneficiary contacts. Public records. Before-and-after evidence. Because our goal is not merely to publish more. Our goal is to publish things people can trust. A final word to Distinguished Senator David S.U. Jimkuta Distinguished Senator, Thank you for reading, if this letter eventually reaches you. Thank you for every intervention that has genuinely improved somebody's life. Thank you for the students whose horizons have been widened. Thank you for the farmer who has received useful support. Thank you for the entrepreneur whose equipment has become a source of income. Thank you for every public resource you have helped direct toward Southern Taraba. And where the work remains incomplete, sir, keep going. Where systems can become more transparent, improve them. Where beneficiaries need follow-up, follow them up. Where projects require pressure in Abuja, keep applying that pressure. Where criticism contains truth, listen. Where criticism contains falsehood, answer with evidence. Where people around you tell you only what you want to hear, find people courageous enough to tell you what you need to hear. Leadership becomes dangerous when applause becomes louder than truth. And when the day eventually comes that you no longer occupy the seat — whether sooner or many years from now — may the evidence left behind be strong enough that people do not have to argue endlessly about whether you served. May they simply point. There is the library. There is the road. There is the student. There is the farmer. There is the business. There is the legislation. There is the community. There is the evidence. That, to me, is legacy. May God grant you wisdom. May God grant you good health. May God surround you with people who tell you the truth. May God give you the humility to listen to ordinary constituents. May God strengthen Hon. Siman and every sincere person working around you. May God bless the people of Taraba South. May God bless Taraba State. May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. And may those entrusted with public office remember always that public office must produce public value. In Jesus' mighty name. Amen. Pursuing Excellence. Serving People. Soli Deo Gloria. Sources and verification trail This article was prepared using publicly available information and first-person commentary. The current office and constituency of Senator David S.U. Jimkuta were verified against the official National Assembly of Nigeria legislator profile. The reported ₦2 billion empowerment exercise, 70 cars, 40 tricycle pickups, 150 motorcycles, productive equipment, agricultural inputs and 40 international scholarship beneficiaries were cross-checked against BusinessDay's October 2025 reporting. The current publicly reported federal approval for the Wukari–Akwana Road — ₦12.615 billion — was checked against reporting on the Federal Executive Council decision. Claims surrounding the Wukari library and specified electricity interventions are presented as reported claims requiring continued independent physical documentation, rather than treated as unquestionable assertions. Senator Jimkuta's sponsorship of the Federal University, Wukari (Establishment) Bill and Institute of Chartered Trustees of Nigeria (Establishment) Bill was verified directly against National Assembly Senate Bills Department records. • I Investigated Asake’s Net Worth in 2026: Here’s What the Evidence Actually Shows

I searched for Asake’s net worth in 2026 and found something that should make any careful reader stop for a moment: one website says about $7 million, another says $8 million, while another stretches its estimate from $6 million all the way to $20 million. So which figure should you believe? That simple question is the reason I decided not to make this another celebrity article where somebody throws a dollar figure into the headline, lists five cars and then disappears. Instead, I went looking for the evidence underneath the numbers. I wanted to understand Asake’s music catalogue, international chart history, touring power, record-label transition, Giran Republic, streaming reach and the assets and income claims people keep repeating online. And what I discovered is more interesting than a single net-worth figure. The strongest evidence does not tell us precisely how much Asake has sitting in his accounts. It tells us that Ahmed Ololade has built one of the most commercially important young African music careers of the last few years — and that ownership may now be becoming an increasingly important part of that story. That distinction matters. Welcome, my fellow IbiFounder. If you enjoy investigations like this, I’m also building an IbiFoundry Afrobeats Wealth Evidence Tracker™ that will eventually let you compare the evidence behind Asake, Davido, Burna Boy, Wizkid, Rema and the other artists in this series. I don’t want you trusting a “richest musicians” list simply because somebody typed a big number beside a celebrity’s photograph. --- Read this first: Asake’s exact net worth is not publicly verified Before we get carried away with millions of dollars, billions of naira and luxury-car photographs, I need to establish the most important fact on this page. I could not find an audited, authoritative public record showing Asake’s exact personal net worth in 2026. That means the figures you see online — whether $5 million, $7 million, $8 million, $15 million or $20 million — should be treated as estimates unless the publisher can show sufficient evidence for the underlying calculation. One 2026 publisher estimates Asake at about $7 million while acknowledging that his real financial position is private. Another confidently gives $8 million, and another publishes the much wider range of $6 million to $20 million. That variation alone should tell you something. If we genuinely knew the number, we would not be seeing a spread large enough to contain several completely different fortunes. This is why I use an evidence-first system for celebrity wealth pages on IbiFoundry. I call it the Ibi Celebrity Wealth Evidence Test™. Every important financial claim gets placed into one of five buckets: Verified — supported by strong primary or authoritative evidence. Reported — credibly reported, but the private documentation is unavailable to us. Estimated — calculated from incomplete public evidence. Unverified — repeated publicly without evidence strong enough for me to present it as fact. Outdated — information that may once have been useful but no longer describes the person's current situation. That is the standard I am using throughout this page. Because being confident is easy. Being accurate is harder. --- I searched Asake net worth 2026 and discovered a much bigger money story Howfar, my people? My name is Dr. Simon Taki Zaku, Founder and CEO of IbiFoundry Limited, and one thing I have increasingly noticed while studying these celebrity-money searches is that the number people Google is often less interesting than the system that created the money. Asake is a perfect example. If you discovered him internationally around 2022, his rise can look almost ridiculous in speed. One minute many people outside Nigerian music circles barely knew the name. Then came Omo Ope. Then YBNL. Then Sungba. Then Mr. Money With the Vibe. Then international arenas. Then Grammy nominations. Then more albums. And now, by 2026, releases are carrying the name GIRAN Republic. But Asake himself has repeatedly pushed back against the idea that everything happened overnight. In a 2024 GQ profile, the artist explained that the apparent sudden breakthrough sat on top of years of work, experimentation and trying to make music before the global explosion came. GQ also identifies him as Ololade Ahmed and explains that “Asake” is his mother's name. That part of the story matters financially. Because overnight success makes people think wealth also appears overnight. Real careers rarely work like that. The visible breakthrough can happen in months. The economic machine usually develops in layers. Asake’s debut album, Mr. Money With the Vibe, became a major commercial signal almost immediately. Apple Music says the album recorded the biggest opening day for an African album on Apple Music when it was released in 2022. His second album, Work of Art, followed in 2023. Then Lungu Boy arrived in August 2024 and reached No. 15 on the UK Official Albums Chart, bettering the UK peaks of his two earlier albums. Then his business structure began to look different. Apple Music shows that “WHY LOVE,” released on 12 February 2025, carries a Giran Republic copyright rather than YBNL. Channels Television described Giran Republic at the time as Asake's new independent record label, although it also correctly noted that neither Asake nor YBNL had then publicly issued a detailed statement explaining the contractual separation. By 2026, the transition was much clearer. Asake's fourth studio album, M$NEY, arrived on 30 April 2026. Apple Music lists 13 tracks and credits the release to GIRAN Republic / EMPIRE, with EMPIRE shown as the record label. Pitchfork's 2026 review went further, reporting that Asake declined to renew his YBNL contract and founded Giran Republic as his independent label. Now we're getting somewhere. Because if you want to understand Asake's wealth story in 2026, the fascinating question isn't simply: How much money does Asake have? It is also: How much of the economic infrastructure around Asake does Asake increasingly control? Are you ready? Yes? Sharpp, let's enter the matter properly. --- Table of contents: what you’ll learn on this page Asake net worth 2026: the quick answer — what I think the evidence allows us to say right now. Why Asake net-worth estimates disagree — why $7 million, $8 million and $20 million can all appear in Google. My final assessment — where the 2026 net-worth question actually lands. Frequently asked questions — answers to the searches people keep making. --- Asake net worth 2026: the quick answer If you came here because you simply wanted a figure, I will not hide the answer somewhere around paragraph 73. There is no publicly verified exact figure for Asake’s personal net worth in 2026. The 2026 estimates I found currently range from roughly $7 million or $8 million at the more specific end to a much wider $6 million–$20 million range elsewhere. Another current biography source gives approximately $15 million, which only reinforces the basic problem: publishers are using different methodologies and sometimes very different assumptions. So my IbiFoundry verdict is not: > Asake is definitely worth exactly $8 million. It is: > Asake is clearly a wealthy and commercially successful Nigerian artist, but the public evidence does not support pretending that any single 2026 net-worth figure is an audited fact. A broad multimillion-dollar estimate is plausible; exact precision is not. That may feel less exciting than a giant number written in yellow text. But it is considerably more useful. Think about how net worth is actually calculated. In its simplest form: Net worth = total assets minus total liabilities. Do we know the current market value of every property Asake owns? No. Do we know exactly how much cash and investments he holds? No. Do we know the detailed ownership structure and valuation of Giran Republic? No. Do we know his debts? No. Do we know every contractual royalty split? No. Do we know how much of every tour gross eventually reaches him personally after venue costs, promoters, management, production, travel, taxation and other expenses? Again, no. And without those variables, an exact number becomes guesswork wearing a suit. This does not mean there is no evidence of wealth. Far from it. The career evidence is formidable. His first album set an Apple Music opening-day record for an African album at the time. His albums have repeatedly reached the UK Official Albums Chart, with Lungu Boy peaking at No. 15. The Recording Academy lists Asake with two Grammy nominations, for “Amapiano” with Olamide and “MMS” with Wizkid. Grammy's own editorial coverage noted that Asake became the fourth Nigerian artist after Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy to sell out London's O2 Arena. And his career has now progressed into releases issued through Giran Republic, while his 2026 album is credited to GIRAN Republic / EMPIRE. These are powerful indicators of commercial scale. They are not the same thing as an audited balance sheet. That distinction is the foundation of this entire investigation. --- Why Asake net worth estimates online are all over the place Celebrity wealth estimation has a basic structural problem. We can see the outside of the machine. We cannot usually see the accounts inside it. People confuse revenue with profit Imagine Asake performs in an arena and ticket sales generate a very large amount of money. Does that mean the entire amount belongs to Asake? Of course not. Concert economics can involve promoters, venue hire, ticketing, local taxes, staging, sound, lighting, security, dancers, musicians, transport, accommodation, agents, managers, insurance and many other costs. Yet this is precisely the mistake some net-worth articles make. They see the estimated gross value of an event and silently turn it into personal income. No. Gross ticket sales demonstrate commercial demand. They do not automatically demonstrate personal profit. People confuse streams with artist take-home income Another popular method is: “Artist has X billion streams × guessed Spotify payout = artist has earned Y.” Again, too simple. Different platforms pay differently. Different territories generate different economics. The recording may have multiple rights holders. There may be producers, songwriters, publishers, distributors, labels and collaborators entitled to portions of revenue. The artist may own some rights fully, some partially and others not at all. So streaming numbers are useful evidence of scale. They are not a personal bank statement. People confuse the cost of an asset with personal net worth Suppose Asake buys a car worth $300,000. That tells us he acquired or was associated with a valuable car. It does not tell us that his net worth increased by $300,000. Cash may simply have been converted into a depreciating asset. The car may have been financed. It may have been gifted. It may later have been sold. Its present resale value may differ significantly from its original purchase price. This is basic finance, but celebrity articles often behave like addition worksheets: House + car + watch + stream estimate + imaginary show fee = net worth. My people, finance no be fried rice. Private businesses are difficult to value Giran Republic makes this even more interesting. We have strong evidence that releases are being issued under the Giran Republic name and credible reporting describing it as Asake's independent label. But the public does not have a continuously updated valuation for Giran Republic comparable to a publicly traded company. So even if Asake owns the business, we cannot simply say: “Giran Republic is worth $10 million, therefore add $10 million to Asake.” That would require information we do not possess. Future earning power gets mixed with current wealth This may explain some of the enormous ranges. A 31-year-old artist with international touring demand, multiple charting albums and a growing independent structure could potentially generate very substantial income over the next decade. But future earning potential is not current net worth. If your business could make ₦500 million over the next five years, your bank account does not magically contain that ₦500 million today. Obvious? Yes. Frequently ignored? Also yes. --- Who is Asake and how did his career become this valuable? Asake's real name is Ahmed Ololade, with GQ reporting the name as Ololade Ahmed and explaining that his stage name comes from his mother. Before the international fame, there was a much longer creative journey. GQ describes an artist who had been making music around school and afterward, slowly attracting attention in Lagos before the songs became big enough for the industry to take serious notice. That context is important because it challenges the lazy version of the story: “Asake appeared in 2022 and suddenly became rich.” Not quite. The Olamide and YBNL turning point The decisive public breakthrough came around his relationship with Olamide and YBNL. GQ reports that Asake's “Mr Money” attracted Olamide's attention, after which Asake released a 2022 EP involving Olamide and moved toward the full-length project that became Mr. Money With the Vibe. The period produced songs including “Omo Ope” and “Sungba” and moved Asake from Nigerian momentum into serious international visibility. Then the debut album landed. And it did not behave like an ordinary debut. Apple Music says Mr. Money With the Vibe achieved the biggest opening day for an African album on the service at its 2022 release. Official Charts records the album at No. 22 in the United Kingdom. One year later, Work of Art reached No. 20. Then Lungu Boy reached No. 15 in 2024. Look at that sequence: 22. 23. 24. Whatever you think of net-worth estimates, that is tangible evidence of expanding international demand. Grammy recognition Asake's “Amapiano,” featuring Olamide, earned a nomination for Best African Music Performance at the 2024 Grammy Awards. “MMS,” featuring Wizkid, earned him another nomination in the same category for the 2025 ceremony. The Recording Academy currently lists Asake at zero wins and two nominations. That does not tell us how many millions he owns. But it strengthens another variable: market positioning. Awards recognition can increase visibility, booking leverage, collaboration opportunities and international demand even when it does not directly put a fixed amount into an artist's account. The fourth-album stage Then came 2026. M$NEY was released on April 30 as Asake's fourth studio album. Apple Music says the album contains 13 songs, runs for approximately 35 minutes and is credited to GIRAN Republic / EMPIRE. Official Charts records M$NEY reaching No. 27 on the UK Official Albums Chart and No. 18 on the Official Albums Streaming Chart. This is where the story begins shifting from: successful artist signed into an established system to: successful artist increasingly associated with his own system. --- How I investigated Asake’s net worth for this 2026 update I want you to understand how I rank sources because otherwise you cannot judge my conclusion. My first preference is always evidence closest to the event itself. Primary and near-primary evidence For music-release information, I look at platforms such as Apple Music and Spotify. For awards, the Recording Academy. For chart positions, Official Charts. For a concert date, the actual venue or authorized ticketing platform. For Giran Republic releases, the copyright and label information attached to the music itself. For major artist interviews, reputable publications speaking directly with Asake. Strong independent reporting Next come publications capable of doing original reporting. GQ's long-form profile is useful because Asake speaks directly about his journey. Pitchfork's 2026 review provides contextual reporting on the transition from YBNL to Giran Republic. Channels Television documented the February 2025 Giran Republic release while also acknowledging what had not yet been publicly confirmed. That last point is especially important. A trustworthy source sometimes tells you what it doesn't know. Secondary net-worth websites These are useful for understanding what numbers Google users are seeing. They are not automatically reliable evidence for the numbers themselves. For example, one site tells readers Asake is worth approximately $7 million. Another says $8 million. Another says somewhere from $6 million to $20 million. Those estimates help us understand the SERP. They do not resolve the underlying financial mystery. Social media and viral claims These sit at the bottom. A social-media post can sometimes be primary evidence if the artist is personally announcing a purchase, partnership or event. But an anonymous account posting: “Asake now worth $50 million!!!” is not financial research. Even if the post has 30,000 likes. Likes are engagement. Not auditing. --- How Asake makes money in 2026 Now we get to the engine room. Although the exact amounts remain private, there are several obvious and documentable commercial channels surrounding a career of Asake's scale. Recorded music This is the foundation. Four studio albums now sit inside his catalogue: Mr. Money With the Vibe. Work of Art. Lungu Boy. M$NEY. Official Charts shows all four reaching the UK albums chart. That catalogue can generate money through streaming, downloads, licensing and other uses, depending on each recording's rights structure. And catalogue value can compound. A song does not necessarily stop generating revenue simply because it is no longer the newest single. Streaming Asake's commercial story is deeply tied to digital consumption. His debut broke an Apple Music African opening-day record at release. By the time we reach his current catalogue, there are years of streams distributed across multiple albums, singles and collaborations. But let me repeat an important warning: Streaming revenue is not the same as Asake's personal streaming income. The person receiving the master royalty may not be the only participant. Songwriters, publishers, producers, distributors and other stakeholders may also share in the economics according to individual agreements. Touring and live performances This is likely one of the most economically important parts of Asake's career, although exact personal profit is private. Grammy editorial coverage states that he became the fourth Nigerian artist after Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy to sell out London's O2 Arena. That is not a small achievement. Selling out a venue of that stature gives us a concrete signal that audiences are willing to pay to see Asake at international arena scale. His touring continues in 2026. Accor Arena in Paris currently lists Asake: In God We Trust World Tour for 24 October 2026. Authorized ticketing currently shows multiple categories for that event, with prices ranging from roughly €60 upward depending on seating and category. Again: Do not multiply capacity × highest ticket price and announce “Asake earned this amount.” That would ignore the entire cost and revenue-sharing structure around the event. But we can reasonably say international arena touring demonstrates substantial earning capacity. Publishing and songwriting Asake is not merely a face singing somebody else's finished product. He is publicly identified as a singer-songwriter, including by the Recording Academy and Accor Arena. Songwriting and publishing rights can create a separate stream of income from the recording itself, depending on ownership and contractual arrangements. The important phrase there is depending on ownership. If you are beginning to notice a theme, good. Ownership keeps returning. Collaborations Asake's collaborations now stretch across Nigerian and international music. His albums and singles have involved artists including Olamide, Burna Boy, Wizkid, Travis Scott, Stormzy and Central Cee, while M$NEY includes further cross-market collaborations. Collaborations can expand reach into another artist's audience and another market. That does not guarantee profit. But it can strengthen streams, catalogue discovery, touring demand and brand value. Brand value and commercial partnerships This is an area where I am deliberately cautious. A celebrity at Asake's level clearly has advertising and partnership potential. But I will not copy random lists of supposed endorsement deals and contract values unless I can trace them back to strong evidence. One of the biggest weaknesses in celebrity-money articles is that a legitimate partnership gets mixed with a completely invented dollar amount. The partnership may be real. The value may be fiction. So until I can establish the second part, I separate the two. Giran Republic This is perhaps the most interesting new layer. Apple Music shows Asake's February 2025 “WHY LOVE” under Giran Republic. Channels Television described it at the time as his new independent record label. Pitchfork later reported that Asake founded Giran Republic after declining to renew his YBNL contract. And M$NEY is credited to GIRAN Republic / EMPIRE. That does not tell us exactly how the economics are split. But strategically? This matters. --- From YBNL to Giran Republic: why ownership may matter more than one hit song I suspect this will eventually become one of the most important chapters in Asake's financial story. YBNL played an enormous role in his breakthrough. Olamide's involvement helped transform Asake from an artist with momentum into one of the most visible stars of his generation. That contribution should not be rewritten merely because the business relationship later evolved. There is a valuable lesson in that too: Partnership and ownership are not enemies. Sometimes partnership gets you to the stage where deeper ownership becomes possible. The YBNL era Official Charts identifies Lungu Boy, Asake's 2024 album, with YBNL Nation as the label. That followed two earlier albums created during the same explosive era. Within roughly three years, Asake went from Nigerian breakthrough artist to an O2-selling, Grammy-nominated global act. That infrastructure had tremendous value. The Giran Republic signal Then the label line changed. “WHY LOVE” appeared in February 2025 with Giran Republic attached to the release. By April 2026, M$NEY carried GIRAN Republic / EMPIRE. Pitchfork characterizes Giran Republic as the independent label Asake founded after his YBNL period. Now imagine two artists earning the same gross amount. Artist A owns very little of the infrastructure and participates mainly through performance compensation. Artist B owns more rights, controls an imprint, maintains stronger intellectual-property interests and participates in more parts of the value chain. Who has the better chance of turning income into long-term wealth? Usually, the second artist. I am not saying that describes Asake's exact contract terms because those terms are private. I am saying this is why the Giran Republic transition deserves more attention than the colour of his latest Rolls-Royce. Income versus equity Income pays you. Equity can continue working after the cheque. If Giran Republic becomes more than an imprint for Asake's personal releases — perhaps eventually developing other artists, catalogues, intellectual property or commercial partnerships — then its economic importance could grow significantly. That is a future possibility, not a current valuation claim. And that distinction matters. But this is what intelligent celebrity wealth analysis should watch. Not only: “How much did he earn?” Also: “What does he own?” --- How M$NEY changed Asake’s financial story in 2026 The title almost makes this section too easy. M$NEY arrived on 30 April 2026 as Asake's fourth studio album. Apple Music lists 13 tracks, approximately 35 minutes of music and the copyright line GIRAN Republic / EMPIRE. More important than the title is what the album represents structurally. This is Asake releasing a full studio project after the transition into Giran Republic. The album extended his chart history Official Charts records M$NEY at No. 27 on the UK Official Albums Chart. That peak is lower than Lungu Boy's No. 15, but it still means Asake has now put four consecutive studio albums onto the main UK albums chart. That kind of repeatability matters. One hit can be luck. Repeated demand becomes a business. Spotify turned the album into another format Then came something particularly interesting. Spotify says Asake partnered with the platform for a special one-night London concert at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. The performance used an orchestra of more than 40 musicians and brought M$NEY to the stage live for the first time. Spotify subsequently released the full concert film and the audio-only M$NEY Live in London project exclusively on the platform in July 2026. Think about the content economics there. One album becomes: Recorded music. A live event. A concert film. A live audio project. More discovery. More catalogue surface area. More international storytelling around the artist. That is exactly how intellectual property can be expanded rather than used once and forgotten. And there is more touring ahead The Paris Accor Arena currently lists Asake for October 24, 2026. So the M$NEY cycle is not something we can evaluate as though 2026 has already ended. As of this update, part of the commercial story is still unfolding. That is another reason I refuse to give a hyper-precise net-worth figure. You would be taking incomplete information from an active year and pretending it was final. --- How valuable is Asake’s touring business? If I had to identify one of the clearest public signals of Asake's financial potential, touring would be near the top. Why? Because ticket demand is visible. You can argue about a celebrity's house. You can argue about whether a watch is owned or borrowed. It is harder to argue with thousands of human beings buying tickets. The O2 Arena milestone The Recording Academy notes that Asake became the fourth Nigerian artist — after Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy — to sell out London's O2 Arena. That achievement places him in a very small group of Nigerian performers able to command that level of international demand. International touring did not stop there Asake continued touring after the O2 milestone, with subsequent global touring around Lungu Boy and later releases. And in 2026, Paris's Accor Arena lists him for the In God We Trust World Tour on October 24. Ticketing pages show active ticket categories for the event, another direct sign that the touring business remains part of his current commercial operation. But how much does he personally make? This is where I refuse to become a magician. Some entertainment pages claim Nigerian superstars earn particular six-figure dollar amounts per performance. Unless I can trace an Asake figure to a credible contract, promoter, booking document or sufficiently strong original reporting, I consider the number reported or unverified, not fact. A booking fee may also vary dramatically depending on: Country. Venue. Private versus public event. Festival versus headline concert. Travel. Production responsibilities. Length of performance. Exclusivity. Sponsorship. Contract terms. So when somebody asks: “How much does Asake charge per show?” The correct answer is: There is no one publicly verified universal Asake booking fee that applies to every event. --- Asake streaming income: the numbers matter, but not in the way people think Streaming has helped create the global Afrobeats economy that makes careers like Asake's possible. But it is also one of the easiest areas to abuse when writing net-worth articles. What we can establish Asake's debut achieved historic Apple Music consumption when it launched. His albums have consistently reached international streaming and album charts. Spotify considered his 2026 M$NEY cycle significant enough to build a dedicated London concert event, film and exclusive live audio project around it. Those are legitimate signs of platform demand. What we cannot establish publicly We do not know: The exact royalty rate attached to every stream. How every recording's master rights are divided. Every producer agreement. Every publishing split. Every distribution fee. Every collaborator split. Every advance or recoupment condition. Every territory-specific payment. Therefore I am not going to do this: 2 billion streams × $0.004 = $8 million directly into Asake's pocket. That equation looks scientific. It is not. Ownership changes the question This brings us back again to Giran Republic. If Asake now holds greater ownership or control over new masters than he did during earlier stages of his career, then equal streaming numbers could have different economic outcomes. But I cannot tell you the exact difference without seeing the contracts. So the directional observation may be sensible. The precise amount would be speculation. --- Asake’s cars in 2026: what is real and what is internet arithmetic? This is probably the section some of you scrolled straight to. I see you. Celebrity cars are enormously searchable because they make wealth visible. You cannot photograph a royalty contract easily. You can photograph a Rolls-Royce. The problem with online car lists Current net-worth and biography sites list various luxury vehicles associated with Asake, including Range Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Rolls-Royce and other expensive models. But many such pages provide much weaker sourcing for the ownership and purchase values than they do for music facts. So I am not comfortable simply copying the entire list and presenting it as independently verified. My standard is stricter For a vehicle claim, ideally I want one or more of the following: A clear first-party announcement. Credible original reporting around the acquisition. Unambiguous evidence that the car belongs to Asake rather than merely appearing around him. A reliable purchase price rather than today's random dealer listing. Without that, the correct label is: Reported. Or: Unverified. Even verified cars do not equal net worth And this is worth repeating. A $300,000 car does not automatically make someone's net worth $300,000 higher. If they spent $300,000 cash they already owned, they swapped cash for an asset. And a vehicle normally depreciates. So cars are evidence of consumption and, sometimes, wealth. They are not a substitute for financial accounts. --- Asake’s houses and real-estate claims The internet has also circulated stories about Asake going from struggling for accommodation to owning property. That narrative fits his wider rise-from-struggle story and appears across multiple Nigerian entertainment biographies. But the exact number and present value of properties attributed to him are not transparent enough for me to turn them into a precise 2026 property portfolio valuation. And we should not pretend otherwise. Real estate would matter materially if verified Unlike most luxury cars, property can appreciate. So substantial real-estate ownership could meaningfully affect a celebrity's net worth. But to value it properly, we would need: Property identification. Ownership status. Acquisition price. Current market value. Mortgages or other liabilities. Ownership percentage. Without those, somebody saying: “Asake owns three houses, therefore add ₦X billion” is performing estimation, not verification. Privacy also matters I also do not see any need for IbiFoundry to publish precise private residential information simply because people search for it. You can discuss documented property ownership without turning a financial investigation into a location guide to someone's home. Useful information first. Human safety always. --- Does Asake own Giran Republic? Here is the most defensible answer I can give you. Credible 2026 reporting describes Giran Republic as the independent label Asake founded, while Asake's releases themselves clearly carry the Giran Republic name. M$NEY is credited to GIRAN Republic / EMPIRE. What I cannot tell you from the public information is the exact legal ownership structure, every shareholder interest, distribution arrangement or commercial split. Those are different questions. Founder does not automatically tell us every ownership detail People often hear: “Asake founded Giran Republic.” Then mentally translate that into: “Asake owns 100%, controls every right and receives every naira.” That conclusion does not automatically follow. A founder can have investors. Partners. Distribution agreements. Licensing arrangements. Joint ventures. Contractual obligations. So until the corporate and contractual details are public, I would state only what the evidence supports. What does EMPIRE mean? Apple Music lists EMPIRE as the record label for M$NEY, while the copyright line reads GIRAN Republic / EMPIRE. That demonstrates a commercial relationship around the project. It does not, by itself, tell us the exact economic split between those parties. Again: Evidence first. Inference second. Guesswork last. --- Asake versus Rema, Davido, Burna Boy and Wizkid: who is richer? Ah. Nigeria's favourite Olympic sport. Celebrity comparison. You can search virtually any pair of successful Nigerian musicians and somebody has already written: “Who is richer?” The problem is that popularity and financial transparency are not the same thing. Asake versus Rema Both are younger-generation global Nigerian stars. Rema has extraordinary international streaming success. Asake has built unusually strong album and live-performance demand while now operating under the Giran Republic identity. Could I compare their visible commercial achievements? Yes. Can I audit both balance sheets? No. So I cannot responsibly declare one richer as fact. Asake versus Davido Davido has a substantially longer career and a wider documented commercial history across music, touring, endorsements and business activities. Asake's career at this level is much younger. Does career length automatically mean Davido has a higher net worth? Not automatically. But it gives him more years during which assets and businesses could accumulate. Our Davido investigation treats the exact number with the same caution. Asake versus Burna Boy Burna Boy has built a huge international touring and recording operation. Asake has achieved major arena milestones himself, including the O2 sellout documented by Grammy. Again, we can compare public commercial evidence. We cannot see enough private financial data to crown a verified winner. Asake versus Wizkid Wizkid has a much longer international career and an extensive global catalogue. The Recording Academy currently lists Wizkid with one Grammy win and six nominations. Asake has two nominations and no wins. That tells us something about Grammy history. It does not directly tell us their current net worth. The better comparison Instead of: Who is richer? I would ask: Who owns more of their catalogue? Who controls more infrastructure? Who has stronger long-term touring demand? Who has the deeper catalogue? Who has businesses outside performance? Who has equity? Who has liabilities? Who has converted income into appreciating assets? Those questions are harder. They are also much closer to how actual wealth works. --- What I could verify about Asake’s wealth — and what I could not Now I want to put everything on one table conceptually. Verified or strongly supported Asake is Ahmed Ololade, a Nigerian singer-songwriter whose rise accelerated dramatically around his Olamide/YBNL breakthrough. His debut album achieved the biggest opening day for an African album on Apple Music when released in 2022. All four of his studio albums have reached the UK Official Albums Chart. Lungu Boy peaked at No. 15 in the UK. Asake has two Grammy nominations and, as of this update, zero Grammy wins. Grammy reports that he became the fourth Nigerian artist to sell out London's O2 Arena. “WHY LOVE” was released in February 2025 under Giran Republic. M$NEY was released on April 30, 2026 and carries GIRAN Republic / EMPIRE credits. Spotify partnered with Asake for the M$NEY Live in London event and released a concert film and live album in July 2026. A 2026 Paris Accor Arena show is scheduled for October 24. Credibly reported Giran Republic is Asake's independently founded label following his YBNL period. Pitchfork reports this directly in its 2026 coverage, while Channels previously described Giran Republic as his new independent label. Estimated Asake's precise 2026 net worth. Current publishers offer figures around $7 million, $8 million, $15 million or a range extending as high as $20 million. None of those figures is an audited personal financial disclosure. Not sufficiently verified for me to state as fact An exact universal Asake performance fee. His exact lifetime Spotify earnings. The exact current value of Giran Republic. His exact ownership percentage in every recording released under Giran Republic. The exact present value and debt status of every house attributed to him. Every luxury vehicle currently listed by entertainment sites. His exact endorsement income. An exact dollar-to-the-million personal net-worth number. --- So what is Asake actually worth in 2026? We have now reached the point where I can answer you without hiding behind either hype or unnecessary caution. Asake is clearly a multimillionaire-level entertainer based on the scale of the career and assets reported around him, but his exact personal net worth in 2026 cannot currently be verified from public evidence. Several published estimates cluster around $7–8 million, while others reach $15 million or use a broad range of $6–20 million. Would I personally write: ASAKE NET WORTH: $8,000,000 EXACTLY and call that a fact? No. I have not seen enough evidence to justify that precision. My IbiFoundry assessment Wealth status: Clearly high-income / multimillionaire-level artist based on available evidence. Exact net-worth confidence: Low. Career earning-power confidence: High. Current business-momentum confidence: High. Ownership story: Increasingly important and worth watching. Best-supported conclusion: Public estimates put Asake somewhere in the multimillion-dollar range, but no exact 2026 number I found should be treated as independently audited fact. Why I think this distinction matters If we publish $8 million today and somebody discovers tomorrow that Asake owns a highly valuable catalogue interest nobody accounted for, the number changes dramatically. If we publish $20 million and later discover substantial liabilities or a completely different rights structure, the number changes again. So instead of pretending certainty exists, I want to document the evidence that will allow this page to improve over time. That's the difference between content and an asset. Content gets published. An asset gets maintained. --- Asake’s biggest asset may not be sitting in his garage When somebody searches “Asake net worth 2026,” I know what the imagination immediately sees. Rolls-Royce. Designer clothes. Jewellery. Homes. Flights. Stage lights. Money. But I think the most interesting wealth lesson in Asake's current career may be much less Instagram-friendly. Ownership. Think about the journey. For years, he is trying to get noticed. Then the breakthrough arrives. Olamide and YBNL become part of the acceleration. A debut album breaks an Apple Music record. International charts follow. The O2 sells out. Grammy nominations arrive. Three albums establish the brand. Then a new name begins appearing underneath the music: Giran Republic. By 2026, his fourth album is credited to GIRAN Republic / EMPIRE. That progression is more educational to me than the question of whether one particular car costs ₦400 million or ₦600 million. Because a car can depreciate. Intellectual property can keep earning. A watch can sit in a drawer. A catalogue can travel while you sleep. A shirt can become old. A company can employ people. A show ends at midnight. Ownership can remain for years. That does not mean every independent artist becomes wealthy. Far from it. Running infrastructure creates costs and risks too. But Asake's evolution illustrates something I think Nigerian creators, freelancers, founders and musicians should study: First build the skill. Then build demand. Then understand distribution. Then, where it makes sense, own more of the system carrying your value. That is the part of Asake's wealth story I am going to keep watching. Not merely: “How much is Mr. Money worth?” But: How much of Mr. Money's machine eventually belongs to Mr. Money? --- The IbiFoundry Afrobeats Wealth Evidence Tracker™ While researching these artists, I realised there is a problem bigger than Asake. Google is full of celebrity wealth pages. What we are missing is a simple way to compare evidence quality. So the IbiFoundry Afrobeats Wealth Evidence Tracker™ is being developed around the artists in this research series. Instead of merely saying: Davido — $X. Burna Boy — $Y. Wizkid — $Z. Asake — $A. the tracker will compare the actual categories underneath those figures. Career length. Major releases. Touring evidence. Catalogue structure. Label relationships. Independent businesses. Known brand relationships. Reported assets. Current third-party estimates. Evidence confidence. Last verification date. And most importantly: What we could not verify. Because uncertainty belongs inside good research. It should not be hidden from the reader. --- Frequently asked questions about Asake net worth 2026 What is Asake’s net worth in 2026? There is no publicly audited figure confirming Asake's exact personal net worth in 2026. Current online estimates I found include about $7 million, $8 million, approximately $15 million, and a broader $6 million–$20 million range. I treat all of these as estimates rather than verified financial facts. How much is Asake worth in naira? There is no fixed trustworthy naira figure because we do not have a verified dollar net worth in the first place. On top of that, the naira exchange rate changes. Any website that converts an estimated dollar figure into naira has simply produced a converted estimate, not an audited naira valuation. Is Asake a billionaire? If you mean a billionaire in naira, even relatively modest multimillion-dollar celebrity estimates can translate into billions of naira depending on the exchange rate. If you mean a US-dollar billionaire, I found no credible evidence whatsoever suggesting Asake has a personal net worth of at least $1 billion. How does Asake make his money? His visible commercial ecosystem includes recorded music, streaming, songwriting/publishing interests, live performances, international touring and collaborations. His current music is also being released through Giran Republic, with M$NEY credited to GIRAN Republic / EMPIRE. How much does Asake earn per show? There is no single publicly verified universal fee I can responsibly give you. Booking fees can vary according to venue, country, event type, production responsibilities, travel requirements, exclusivity, promoters and individual contract terms. How much does Asake make from Spotify? His exact personal Spotify income is private. Stream counts and platform success show demand, but the amount reaching Asake depends on recording ownership, publishing, distribution, collaborators and contractual royalty splits. What record label is Asake signed to in 2026? His 2026 album M$NEY is credited on Apple Music to GIRAN Republic / EMPIRE, with EMPIRE listed as the record label. That is the clearest current release-level answer. Did Asake leave YBNL? His releases moved away from YBNL branding, with “WHY LOVE” appearing under Giran Republic in February 2025. Channels Television noted at that time that the parties had not publicly given a detailed statement about the contractual separation, while later Pitchfork reporting says Asake declined to renew his contract and founded Giran Republic. Does Asake own Giran Republic? Pitchfork describes Giran Republic as the independent label Asake founded. However, I have not seen sufficient public corporate documentation to state every detail of the ownership percentages, partners or commercial structure. How many Grammy Awards has Asake won? As of this August 2026 update, the Recording Academy lists Asake with zero Grammy wins and two nominations. What songs earned Asake Grammy nominations? His first nomination came for “Amapiano” with Olamide. His second came for “MMS” with Wizkid, both in the Best African Music Performance category. What is Asake’s latest album in 2026? Asake's fourth studio album is M$NEY, released on 30 April 2026. Apple Music lists 13 tracks and credits it to GIRAN Republic / EMPIRE. Did Asake sell out the O2 Arena? Yes. The Recording Academy states that Asake became the fourth Nigerian artist, after Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy, to sell out London's O2 Arena. Is Asake richer than Rema? I cannot verify that as fact. Both artists have substantial global careers, but their complete assets, liabilities, contracts and investment portfolios are not publicly available. Is Asake richer than Davido? There is no publicly audited evidence allowing me to make that claim responsibly. Davido has a much longer commercial career, while Asake's rise has been extraordinarily rapid, but career visibility alone cannot establish each person's exact personal wealth. --- Why you should trust this page I am Dr. Simon Taki Zaku, Founder and CEO of IbiFoundry Limited. My goal with this series is not to produce the biggest celebrity numbers on Google. It is to produce the most defensible answers I can from available evidence. For this Asake investigation, I prioritised first-party and authoritative sources including Apple Music, Spotify, the Recording Academy, Official Charts and Accor Arena, then used reputable reporting and interviews to establish context. I also deliberately looked at competing net-worth pages because those are the figures readers encounter in search. But where they gave estimates without audited evidence, I treated the numbers as estimates. That is important. A confident number is not automatically a credible number. If better financial evidence becomes public, this page should change with it. --- Research methodology and update history Primary topic: Asake net worth 2026 Primary person/entity: Asake / Ahmed Ololade Research focus: Wealth estimates, music catalogue, chart performance, Giran Republic, touring, streaming, assets and income architecture. Evidence hierarchy: Primary platforms and institutions first; strong independent journalism second; secondary celebrity/net-worth publishers used primarily to document public estimates and SERP claims. Last substantially researched: 8 August 2026 Research position: Asake's precise personal net worth remains unverified publicly. Next-update triggers: Major Giran Republic corporate disclosure, authoritative financial reporting, new business ownership information, material catalogue transaction, major tour reporting, reliable asset disclosure or significant changes to his recording/distribution structure. If you notice a material error or discover a strong primary source that changes one of the classifications above, I want the page corrected rather than defended. That's how a living Ibi-asset should work. Truth first. Evidence next. Updates always.

  • How One SEO Company Taught Millions of People Before Asking Them to Become Customers (The Ahref Effect)

THE AHREFS EFFECT™: How One SEO Company Taught Millions Before Asking Them To Become Customers **By Dr. Simon Taki Zaku, DBA** Founder & CEO, IbiFoundry Limited This publication is an independent research and opinion article written by Dr. Simon Taki Zaku, DBA, Founder and CEO of IbiFoundry Limited. It is not sponsored by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Ahrefs. References to Ahrefs are based on publicly available information, the author's professional experience using the platform, and independent analysis. Before I Trusted Ahrefs With Data, I Trusted Ahrefs With My Learning. There are very few companies I genuinely respect before I ever become their customer. Ahrefs is one of them. Long before I understood search intent. Long before I could explain keyword difficulty. Long before I knew what backlink velocity meant. Long before I had clients across different countries. Long before I started building SEO systems. There was one company quietly teaching me. Not selling. Teaching. Every time I searched Google trying to understand something about SEO... Ahrefs was there. Not shouting. Not promising overnight rankings. Not trying to manipulate me into buying software. Simply teaching. That difference mattered. Years later, after managing SEO content systems, writing thousands of pages, working with startups, SaaS companies, agencies and founders, I finally understood why. Ahrefs wasn't merely building software. Ahrefs was building trust. That realization became the foundation of this publication. Why I Wrote This Publication Most software reviews answer questions like these: * Is it worth the money? * What features does it have? * What are the pros? * What are the cons? Those are useful questions. But they are small questions. The question that interested me was much bigger. **How does a software company become trusted by millions of marketers around the world?** Because trust cannot be purchased. Advertising can buy attention. Discounts can buy customers. Features can buy comparisons. But trust... Trust must be earned. That is why I decided to study Ahrefs through what I call the **IBIFOUNDRY SEARCHCOSYSTEM™ Framework**. Instead of reviewing buttons and dashboards... I wanted to study philosophy. Education. Product thinking. Authority. Search. Content. Community. And the invisible systems that make people recommend a company long before they are ever asked to. The Day I Realized Ahrefs Was More Than An SEO Tool One day, something struck me. Whenever someone asked me an SEO question... I wasn't remembering advertisements. I wasn't remembering landing pages. I wasn't remembering feature lists. I was remembering lessons. Blog articles. Research studies. Tutorials. Examples. Explanations. The company had quietly become part of how I thought. That fascinated me. Because software normally changes workflows. Education changes people. Ahrefs managed to do both. That is far more difficult. And far more valuable. The Real Ahrefs Effect™ Most people believe Ahrefs became successful because it built powerful SEO software. I disagree. The software matters. The data matters. The crawling infrastructure matters. The engineers matter. But I believe something else multiplied all of those strengths. Education. Ahrefs consistently invested in teaching people how search works. Not just how Ahrefs works. That distinction changed everything. Because when a company helps you understand your own problem... You naturally begin trusting its solution. That is what I call **The Ahrefs Effect™.** Education creates understanding. Understanding creates confidence. Confidence creates trust. Trust creates adoption. Adoption creates advocacy. Advocacy creates long-term growth. It is one of the strongest growth loops I have ever observed in modern SaaS. Why This Matters Beyond SEO This publication is not only about Ahrefs. It is about every founder. Every startup. Every software company. Every agency. Every creator. Every entrepreneur trying to build something that lasts. The lesson is simple. People rarely become loyal because your product exists. They become loyal because your company consistently helps them make better decisions. That is why some companies are remembered. While others are forgotten. The companies that teach... Usually outlast the companies that merely advertise. What You Will Learn In This Publication By the end of this research publication, you will understand: - Why Ahrefs became one of the most trusted names in SEO. - The educational strategy behind its long-term authority. - Lessons founders can apply regardless of industry. - Why AI is changing search and why Ahrefs is adapting. - How education can become a competitive advantage. - What African founders can learn from Ahrefs. - My independent SEARCHCOSYSTEM™ Audit of Ahrefs. - Practical recommendations I would make if I joined the Ahrefs strategy team tomorrow. This is not just a review. It is a study of how trust compounds. And why teaching may be one of the highest-return investments a company can make. THE AHREFS EFFECT BATCH 002 WHY AHREFS BECAME MORE THAN AN SEO TOOL The first time I understood the real power of Ahrefs I was not thinking about software I was thinking about clarity Because SEO can be very confusing when you are still learning One person says backlinks are everything Another person says content is everything Another person says technical SEO is everything Another person says keyword research is everything Then Google changes something Then AI changes something Then competitors change something Then the beginner becomes tired before they even begin That is why Ahrefs became important to me Ahrefs did not only give me data Ahrefs helped me understand what the data meant That is the difference between a tool and a teacher A tool gives you information A teacher helps you make sense of it And when a company does both very well It becomes difficult to replace That is why I believe Ahrefs is not just an SEO tool It is a search intelligence company Official Ahrefs website https://ahrefs.com Ahrefs SEO guide https://ahrefs.com/seo Ahrefs Blog https://ahrefs.com/blog Ahrefs Academy https://ahrefs.com/academy WHY EDUCATION BUILT AHREFS TRUST Let me sit beside you and explain this simply A company can advertise to you every day and still fail to earn your trust But if that company helps you solve a real problem You remember If it explains something you have struggled with You return If it gives you clarity when everyone else gives you confusion You begin to trust it That is what Ahrefs did for many people The Ahrefs Blog became more than a blog It became a classroom The Ahrefs Academy became more than a collection of videos It became a learning path The Ahrefs YouTube channel became more than content It became practical demonstration This matters because SEO is not easy for beginners Search intent Keyword difficulty Organic traffic Backlinks Internal links Site audits Content gaps Rank tracking Competitive analysis AI visibility These are not simple topics when you are starting But Ahrefs kept explaining them Again and again With examples With data With screenshots With guides With patience That kind of education creates trust slowly Then suddenly One day you realize something You already trust the company before you buy anything from it THE AHREFS BLOG AS AN AUTHORITY ENGINE The Ahrefs Blog is one of the most important parts of the Ahrefs story Not because blogs are magical But because useful blogs compound A weak blog publishes because the company needs traffic A strong blog publishes because the reader needs help That is the difference When a company writes only to rank The reader can feel it When a company writes to help The reader can also feel it The Ahrefs Blog often feels like it was written by people who understand the pain of the person searching The beginner who wants to know what SEO means The blogger trying to find keywords The founder trying to understand why competitors rank higher The agency trying to audit a client website The content marketer trying to build authority The technical SEO specialist trying to diagnose a problem The business owner trying to understand whether SEO is worth the investment Those readers are not searching for theory They are searching for clarity Ahrefs meets them there That is why the blog becomes an authority engine It does not only attract traffic It builds memory And memory is one of the foundations of brand trust AHREFS ACADEMY AND STRUCTURED LEARNING A blog answers questions An academy builds progression That is why Ahrefs Academy is important When someone reads one article they may learn one idea When someone follows a structured course they begin to develop a skill That difference matters Skill creates confidence Confidence creates implementation Implementation creates results Results create loyalty This is where Ahrefs becomes very interesting The company does not only create scattered educational assets It creates learning pathways That makes it easier for a beginner to move from confusion to clarity And that is one of the biggest gifts any educational company can give its audience Ahrefs Academy https://ahrefs.com/academy THE PRODUCT CONFIRMS THE TEACHING A company can teach well and still fail if the product is weak That is not the case with Ahrefs The product has depth Site Explorer helps users study websites and competitors Keywords Explorer helps users understand search demand Site Audit helps users identify technical problems Rank Tracker helps users monitor performance Content Explorer helps users discover content opportunities Brand Radar and AI visibility tools show that Ahrefs is paying attention to the future of search This is very important Because education creates expectation The product must then confirm that expectation If a company teaches powerfully but the product disappoints Trust breaks If a company teaches clearly and the product delivers Trust deepens That is what makes the Ahrefs model strong The education is not floating in the air It is connected to real product capability THE AHREFS EFFECT: THE SEARCHCOSYSTEM AUDIT OF AHREFS When I study Ahrefs through the IbiFoundry SEARCHCOSYSTEM lens I see something important Ahrefs is not only competing for SEO software users Ahrefs is competing for search trust That is a bigger category Because the future of search is no longer only about blue links on Google People search on Google People search on YouTube People search on Reddit People search on LinkedIn People search on TikTok People ask ChatGPT People ask Perplexity People ask Gemini People ask communities People ask friends People ask WhatsApp groups People ask creators they trust That means search has become an ecosystem The question is no longer only How do I rank on Google The bigger question is How do I become the trusted answer wherever people search That is the question Ahrefs is now positioned to help people answer WHY AHREFS IS STRONG IN THE NEW SEARCH ERA Ahrefs already has several advantages It has search data It has backlink intelligence It has keyword intelligence It has technical SEO tools It has educational authority It has a respected blog It has YouTube trust It has Ahrefs Academy It has brand recognition inside the SEO industry It has new AI visibility positioning through Brand Radar That combination is powerful But the deeper advantage is this Ahrefs helps people see what is usually invisible Backlinks are invisible to most business owners Search demand is invisible Competitor traffic is invisible Technical SEO problems are invisible Content gaps are invisible AI visibility is becoming invisible too Ahrefs turns invisible search signals into understandable decisions That is the value Not data alone Decision clarity THE AI VISIBILITY OPPORTUNITY The next major search battlefield is AI visibility More people will ask AI systems questions before they ever click a traditional search result That means brands will need to understand how they appear inside AI answers Are they mentioned Are they cited Are competitors cited instead What sources shape the answer What content is trusted What pages should be improved What entities are connected to the brand Ahrefs Brand Radar shows that Ahrefs already sees this shift Ahrefs Brand Radar https://ahrefs.com/brand-radar This is a major opportunity But the market still needs education Many founders do not yet understand AI visibility Many marketers do not understand AI citations Many small businesses do not understand why AI discovery may affect trust Many creators do not know how to make their work easier for AI systems to understand This is where Ahrefs can lead Not only by building tools But by teaching the world what AI visibility means That is the same strategy that helped Ahrefs earn trust in SEO Teach the new category before everyone understands it Then become the trusted interpreter of that category THE EDUCATION GAP Here is one thing I would tell the Ahrefs team if I were sitting beside them You have already earned trust among serious SEO professionals But the next wave of users may not call themselves SEO professionals They may be founders Creators Students Small business owners Content managers Freelancers Nonprofit teams Local brands Digital journalists AI content strategists Community builders They may not wake up saying I need an SEO platform They may say Why is nobody finding my website Why is my competitor everywhere online Why does ChatGPT mention other brands and not mine Why are my articles not bringing customers Why does my website look good but remain invisible Why are my blog posts not ranking Why is my business not discoverable That is the education gap And the company that explains these questions best may own the next phase of search trust WHAT I WOULD BUILD FIRST If I joined Ahrefs tomorrow and had to recommend practical growth assets I would begin with education assets before product features I would build a complete guide called What Is AI Visibility Then I would build AI Visibility For Founders AI Visibility For Agencies AI Visibility For Local Businesses AI Visibility For SaaS Companies AI Visibility For Publishers AI Visibility For African Businesses AI Visibility For Universities AI Visibility For Nonprofits I would not make them shallow posts I would make them definitive learning paths Each one would explain the problem Show examples Teach the concept Demonstrate the workflow Connect the reader to relevant Ahrefs tools Then invite them into deeper learning That is not just content That is market education THE AFRICA OPPORTUNITY Africa matters here Not as charity Not as a side note Not as a public relations campaign Africa matters because future demand is being formed now Millions of African founders creators students agencies and small businesses are still early in their search journey They need education before software But the company that teaches them now may become the company they trust later That is exactly how trust compounds I know this because I lived it with Buffer I discovered Buffer through education before I became a user The same can happen with Ahrefs across Africa A student in Lagos learns SEO through Ahrefs Academy A founder in Nairobi discovers keyword research through the Ahrefs Blog A blogger in Accra learns link building through Ahrefs YouTube An agency in Kigali learns technical SEO through Ahrefs guides A business owner in Jalingo learns how search visibility works Years later those people may become users clients advocates partners teachers or founders That is how educational trust travels AFRICA SPECIFIC IDEAS FOR AHREFS Ahrefs Africa SEO Academy Ahrefs Campus Search Clubs Ahrefs Nigeria SEO Bootcamp Ahrefs Kenya Search Summit Ahrefs Ghana Creator SEO Challenge Ahrefs Africa Scholarship Accounts Ahrefs Local Business SEO Guides For Africa Ahrefs SEO For African Universities Ahrefs Agency Starter Programme Ahrefs Africa Case Study Series Ahrefs Community Ambassadors Ahrefs AI Visibility For Africa Report Ahrefs Search Visibility Index For African Brands Ahrefs African Creator SEO Awards These are not small ideas They are long term trust infrastructure THE IBIFOUNDRY CONNECTION This is where IbiFoundry naturally fits IbiFoundry exists to help people become visible through knowledge systems content systems search systems and trust systems That is why Ahrefs matters to my work Search is not just technical Search is human A person searches because they need help A business ranks because it deserves to be found A company builds authority because it consistently teaches A founder earns trust because people repeatedly solve problems through their work That is the bridge between Ahrefs and IbiFoundry Ahrefs helps people understand search data IbiFoundry helps people turn knowledge into visibility trust and opportunity Learn more about IbiFoundry here https://www.ibifoundry.com.ng/what-is-ibifoundry Learn more about Dr Simon Taki Zaku here https://www.ibifoundry.com.ng/about-simon-taki-zaku THE FOUNDER TRUST BLOCK My name is Dr Simon Taki Zaku DBA I am the Founder and CEO of IbiFoundry Limited in Jalingo Taraba State Nigeria I work as a content systems architect growth strategist SEO strategist and digital business people understand visibility Visibility on Google Visibility in AI answers Visibility in content ecosystems Visibility through brand mentions Visibility through backlinks Visibility through trust Visibility through education Visibility through authority Because the future of search will reward companies that are not merely findable It will reward companies that are understandable That is why Ahrefs should not only remain an SEO platform It should become one of the worlds most trusted search intelligence educators That is the next Ahrefs Effect Soli Deo Gloria

I believe Buffer earned me through education." Dear Reader, Before we begin, I want you to imagine something. Imagine you and I are sitting together. No cameras. No conference stage. No social media. No audience. Just you and me having an honest conversation over a cup of coffee. Because that is exactly how I want this article to feel. Not like a marketing piece. Not like a software review. Not like another SEO article designed to rank on Google. I want it to feel like a conversation. A real one. The kind where someone tells you a story that changed their life. And by the end of that story, you realize it contains lessons that might change yours too. H2: The Biggest Mistake Most Companies Make If you ask most companies how they acquire customers, you'll hear answers like: Advertising Social media SEO Influencer marketing Partnerships Email marketing Referrals And to be fair... Those answers are not wrong. But I think they're incomplete. Because they focus on acquisition. Not trust. Trust is different. Trust cannot be purchased. Trust cannot be hacked. Trust cannot be automated. Trust cannot be forced. Trust must be earned. And the companies that understand this tend to build something much bigger than customers. They build believers. They build advocates. They build communities. They build movements. And looking back over the last decade... I believe Buffer understood that long before many companies did. H2: The Boy Looking For Answers I grew up in Jalingo, Taraba State, Nigeria. Long before I became Dr. Simon. Long before IBIFOUNDRY. Long before SEO. Long before AI. Long before all the things people now associate with my work. I was simply a curious young man trying to understand how the world worked. I asked questions constantly. Not because I wanted to sound intelligent. But because I genuinely wanted answers. Questions fascinated me. How do businesses grow? Why do some websites dominate Google? Why do some people seem to attract opportunities effortlessly? Why do certain brands earn extraordinary loyalty? Why do some articles stay with you for years while others disappear immediately after you read them? At the time, I had no idea these questions would eventually become my career. I was simply curious. And curiosity has a funny way of changing lives. H2: One Google Search Changed Everything Nearly ten years ago, I opened Google and typed a simple question: H3: "What Is Social Media Marketing?" That's it. Nothing dramatic. Nothing revolutionary. Just a beginner trying to learn. I pressed Enter. Google returned its results. And among those results was a company called Buffer. At the time... Buffer meant absolutely nothing to me. I wasn't looking for Buffer. I wasn't looking for a scheduling tool. I wasn't comparing software. I wasn't evaluating social media platforms. I simply wanted someone to explain social media marketing in a way I could understand. So I clicked. That click quietly changed the trajectory of my life. H2: Why The First Article Felt Different The first thing I noticed wasn't the design. It wasn't the logo. It wasn't the software. It was the writing. The writing felt different. It felt patient. It felt human. It felt respectful. The article never made me feel ignorant. It made me feel capable. That distinction matters. A lot. Because the best teachers don't make you admire their intelligence. They help you discover your own. And that's exactly how the Buffer blog felt. I finished the article. Then I read another. Then another. Then another. Without realizing it, I had begun a relationship that would last almost a decade. H2: The Day I Met Kevan Lee Without Ever Meeting Him As I continued reading Buffer's content, one name kept appearing. H3: Kevan Lee At first, he was simply another author. Another byline. Another content marketer. But over time, something interesting happened. His articles stopped feeling like articles. They started feeling like lessons. And those lessons started shaping how I thought. About content. About marketing. About trust. About generosity. About education. About helping people. The funny thing is... Kevan Lee and I have never met. We've never had coffee. We've never exchanged emails. We've never sat in the same room. He may never have heard my name. Yet he became one of my earliest online teachers. And I suspect millions of people around the world could say the same thing. That realization still amazes me. H2: There Are Teachers You Never Meet Most people think teachers stand in classrooms. Sometimes they do. But some of the most important teachers in your life never meet you. They write. They publish. They share. They teach. And somewhere across the world... Someone learns. Looking back, I realize Kevan Lee became one of those teachers for me. Not because he knew me. But because he cared enough to explain ideas clearly. And clarity is one of the greatest gifts a teacher can give. H2: What Buffer Really Sold Me This is where things get interesting. Because I don't think Buffer initially sold me software. I think Buffer sold me trust. Actually... That's not even accurate. They didn't sell me trust. They earned it. One article at a time. One email at a time. One lesson at a time. One helpful resource at a time. And that's a very different process. Most companies ask for trust before they've earned it. Buffer earned trust before asking for anything. That's powerful. Because once trust exists... Everything else becomes easier. H2: The Most Important Marketing Lesson I Ever Learned Looking back, I think Buffer taught me one lesson that permanently changed how I think about business. It is this: H3: Education Compounds Advertisements interrupt. Education helps. Advertisements disappear. Education compounds. Advertisements ask for attention. Education deserves attention. Advertisements create awareness. Education creates transformation. And transformed people rarely forget who helped them transform. That lesson eventually influenced how I built IBIFOUNDRY. It influenced how I write. How I teach. How I publish. How I think about serving people. Because once you truly understand the power of education... You stop asking: "How can I get more customers?" And start asking: "How can I help more people?" Ironically... The second question often produces better business outcomes than the first. Key Lessons From This Chapter Curiosity often changes your life before you realize it. Great teachers don't make you feel small; they make you feel capable. Education is one of the most powerful forms of marketing. Trust compounds over time. Companies that teach consistently create deeper relationships than companies that merely advertise. One article can change someone's trajectory. You may never know whose life your work influences. Reflection Question Who unknowingly shaped the way you think today... and have you ever thanked them? Before You Pay for ClickFunnels, Read This Nigerian Founder’s Review Are you thinking about paying for ClickFunnels from Nigeria, but one part of your mind is asking, “Dr Simon, will this thing really work for me or am I about to waste dollars again?” This ClickFunnels review Nigeria guide is written for Nigerian creators, coaches, consultants, freelancers, business owners, affiliate marketers, and service providers who want to know if ClickFunnels is worth it in 2026 before they enter card details. I will show you what ClickFunnels does, who it fits, who should avoid it for now, how it connects to WhatsApp selling, and how I would use it as a Nigerian founder building content, funnels, SEO, and affiliate revenue. Meta description for Wix excerpt: Before you pay for ClickFunnels, read this Nigerian founder’s review on pricing, funnels, WhatsApp selling, affiliate marketing, and who should actually use it. Meta description for Google and Bing: ClickFunnels review Nigeria guide for creators, coaches, freelancers, and business owners who want smarter funnels, WhatsApp leads, and online sales. Lead magnet tease: “Before you touch any funnel software, I want you to grab my Nigerian Funnel Readiness Checklist so you can know whether you need ClickFunnels, a simpler landing page, or a better offer first.” Introduction to this ClickFunnels review Nigeria guide Let me start this ClickFunnels review Nigeria guide with the exact question I know many serious Nigerians are already asking. Is ClickFunnels worth it for me in Nigeria, or is it just another expensive foreign software that looks sweet on YouTube but becomes painful when dollar billing starts? That is the real question. Not “does ClickFunnels have beautiful templates?” Not “can ClickFunnels build landing pages?” Not “do American marketers like it?” The real question is whether ClickFunnels makes sense for you as a Nigerian business owner, coach, freelancer, consultant, course creator, agency owner, affiliate marketer, or digital product seller trying to convert attention into money in a country where people still want to ask, “Can I WhatsApp you?” before they pay. And my honest answer is this. ClickFunnels can be worth it for Nigerians in 2026, but only if you already understand your offer, your audience, your traffic source, and your follow-up system. If you do not have those things, ClickFunnels will not save you. It may even expose your confusion faster. That is why I am writing this page like a serious founder, not like an affiliate marketer chasing commission with sweet mouth. Yes, this page contains affiliate links. If you sign up through some of the ClickFunnels links on this page, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. But I will not tell you to buy what you do not need. That is not how I build IbiFoundry. IbiFoundry is story-first, trust-first, WhatsApp-first, mobile-first, SEO-first, AEO-first, GEO-first, and conversion-first. So this review is not just “ClickFunnels good, ClickFunnels bad.” This is a Nigerian business reality check. Because in Nigeria, the problem is not always that people do not have products. Many people have products. Many people have services. Many people have skills. Many people have knowledge. Many people even have traffic. The bigger problem is that their buyer journey is scattered like market receipt after rain. Some people post on Instagram. Then they send prospects to DM. Then they send voice note. Then they send account number. Then they forget follow-up. Then the buyer disappears. Then they post again the next day and repeat the same stress. My guy, that is not a business system. That is survival. And yes, survival can bring money. But survival rarely builds a clean, scalable, premium, repeatable online asset. This is where the funnel conversation starts to matter. A funnel is not magic. A funnel is simply a guided path that takes a stranger from curiosity to trust to action. In Nigerian English, I will say it like this: A funnel is the difference between shouting “buy from me” every day and creating a structured journey that helps a serious person understand why they should trust you, what you offer, what to do next, and how to move forward without confusion. That is why ClickFunnels is interesting. ClickFunnels is not just a website builder. ClickFunnels is built around the idea of selling. It helps you create landing pages, sales pages, lead capture pages, checkout flows, course areas, email follow-up, and structured buyer journeys. The official ClickFunnels positioning is simple: it gives people tools to market, sell, and deliver products and services online. That sounds attractive. But attractive is not enough. Especially when the pricing is in dollars. As of this 2026 review, ClickFunnels’ official pricing page shows the Launch plan at $81 per month when billed annually. For a Nigerian, that number is not small. When you convert it to naira, add exchange rate pressure, card issues, business uncertainty, and the fact that many beginners still do not have a tested offer, you will understand why I cannot just shout “go and buy it.” I need to explain who should use it and who should wait. Because if you are already selling a ₦100,000 coaching package, ₦250,000 consulting package, ₦500,000 service, digital product, course, webinar, paid community, affiliate offer, or agency service, then ClickFunnels may help you organize the selling process better. But if you are still asking, “What should I sell online?” then ClickFunnels is not your first problem. Your first problem is offer clarity. Your second problem is audience clarity. Your third problem is proof. Your fourth problem is traffic. Your fifth problem is follow-up. ClickFunnels comes after those foundations begin to make sense. This is why I want you to slow down and read this review carefully. Because Nigeria’s online selling environment is changing fast. Research reports project Nigeria’s ecommerce market around $10.49 billion in 2026, with growth forecasted toward $18.68 billion by 2031. Social commerce is also becoming serious business, with Nigeria’s social commerce market projected around $12.43 billion in 2026. That means Nigerians are already buying online. They are discovering products on social media. They are comparing options. They are asking questions. They are entering WhatsApp. They are paying vendors they trust. They are ignoring vendors who look unserious. So the real opportunity is not just “build a funnel.” The real opportunity is to build a trust journey. That is the IbiFoundry way. Traffic should not just land on a random page. Traffic should land on a story. The story should educate. The education should create trust. The trust should lead to a clear action. The action should lead to WhatsApp, checkout, a free trial, a consultation, or a serious next step. For this ClickFunnels page, the primary action is simple. If ClickFunnels fits you, you can start with the ClickFunnels free trial here: https://www.clickfunnels.com/signup-flow?aff=2b7d996dcf35b6e6ed7319b06b73754d64fe930f945a60e4b962bb6321eb173b If you are still confused and you want me to help you think through your funnel first, message me directly on WhatsApp: +234 913 783 9031 That is the honest path. No pressure. No fake screenshots. No “make $10,000 in 30 days” noise. Just clear thinking. Because one thing I have learned after years of building content systems, SEO engines, blog growth systems, websites, and digital business assets is this: Attention without conversion becomes expensive decoration. You can have a website and still not have a system. You can have traffic and still not have buyers. You can have followers and still not have income. You can have a beautiful landing page and still not have trust. You can have a funnel and still not understand your customer. So before you pay for ClickFunnels, let us answer the deeper question. Are you trying to buy software? Or are you trying to build a sales system? Because those two things are not the same. Are you ready to begin? Yes? Sharpp, let’s go. Table of contents for this ClickFunnels review Nigeria page What you will learn before you pay for ClickFunnels You will learn whether ClickFunnels is worth it for Nigerians in 2026. You will learn what ClickFunnels actually does beyond the hype. You will learn who should use ClickFunnels and who should avoid it for now. You will learn how ClickFunnels can work with WhatsApp instead of replacing WhatsApp. You will learn the Nigerian pricing reality before you enter your card. You will learn what I like about ClickFunnels as a founder and SEO strategist. You will learn what I do not like about ClickFunnels and why that matters. You will learn how ClickFunnels compares with Wix, WordPress, CartFlows, and other funnel tools. You will learn how affiliate marketers can use ClickFunnels properly without spamming raw links. You will learn which ClickFunnels offer may fit your stage, including the free trial, One Funnel Away Challenge, PLR Funnels, 3 Months for $99, and Funnel Builder Secrets. You will learn when to message me on WhatsApp before buying anything. You will learn what I would do if I were starting from Nigeria today. Read this first before you click any ClickFunnels link Let me be plain with you. This page includes affiliate links. That means if you use my ClickFunnels links and later become a paying customer, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. But this does not change my recommendation. I do not want you to buy ClickFunnels because I mentioned it. I want you to understand whether it fits your business stage. That difference matters. Because affiliate marketing becomes dirty when people promote tools without explaining who should avoid them. I do not want to do that here. If ClickFunnels fits you, I will show you why. If it does not fit you yet, I will say it. If WhatsApp plus a simple landing page is enough for your current stage, I will say it. If you need a full funnel, I will say it. If you need offer clarity before software, I will also say it. That is why this review is long. A short review can give you features. A serious review should help you avoid regret. And if you are reading this from Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Jalingo, Kaduna, Jos, Enugu, Ibadan, Kano, Benin, Uyo, Warri, Makurdi, Yola, or anywhere in Africa, I want you to read with your real business in mind. Not American YouTube hype. Your own offer. Your own audience. Your own naira reality. Your own WhatsApp conversations. Your own current stage. Your own next move. Because the wrong tool at the wrong time can become another monthly stress. But the right tool at the right time can become leverage. That is the balance I want us to keep throughout this page. The real problem is not ClickFunnels The real problem most Nigerian businesses have online is not lack of tools. It is lack of structure. Let me explain it in a simple way. Imagine a Nigerian coach who sells a ₦50,000 training. She posts on Instagram every day. People like the post. Some people comment. A few people enter DM. Then the conversation starts. “How much?” “What will I learn?” “Is it online?” “Can I pay small small?” “Do you have proof?” “When is the next class?” “Can I think about it?” Now imagine answering that every single day manually. At first, it feels like business. After some time, it becomes emotional labour. You start repeating yourself. You start losing prospects. You start forgetting who asked what. You start sounding tired. You start reducing price because you want quick conversion. You start wondering why people are engaging but not paying. This is exactly where a funnel begins to help. A funnel does not remove human conversation. A funnel removes unnecessary confusion before the human conversation. That is powerful. Because in Nigeria, WhatsApp is still one of the strongest trust channels. People want to feel there is a real person behind the offer. They want to ask questions. They want reassurance. They want voice note sometimes. They want to know you are not one “I will teach you how to make millions overnight” person. So I am not one of those people who will tell you ClickFunnels should replace WhatsApp. No. ClickFunnels should prepare the buyer before WhatsApp. That is the magic. Content brings attention. The review page builds trust. The funnel organizes desire. WhatsApp closes with human connection. Payment confirms seriousness. Delivery creates proof. Proof brings the next buyer. That is the IbiFoundry content-to-cash path. And that is why I care about ClickFunnels as a strategic tool. Not because it is foreign. Not because influencers shout about it. Not because affiliates promote it. But because it is built around conversion journeys. And if you are serious about selling online, conversion journeys matter. Let me show you the difference. A normal website says: “Welcome to my business.” A funnel says: “Here is your problem, here is why it matters, here is the solution, here is proof, here is what to do next.” A normal website can be beautiful. A funnel must be persuasive. A normal website can have many pages. A funnel has one main job. A normal website can let visitors wander. A funnel guides them. A normal website can be passive. A funnel is built for action. This is why many Nigerian business owners feel disappointed after paying for websites. The website may not be bad. The design may even be fine. But if the page does not explain the pain, show the offer, build trust, answer objections, create urgency ethically, and guide the reader into the next step, then it becomes digital decoration. And omo, decoration does not pay salaries. This is why I often tell people that the page is not the business. The journey is the business. The page is only one part of the journey. That is where ClickFunnels becomes interesting. ClickFunnels tries to give you the tools to create that journey faster. But tools do not replace strategy. If your offer is weak, ClickFunnels will not save it. If your copy is empty, ClickFunnels will not write your soul for you. If your traffic is poor, ClickFunnels will not manufacture buyers from thin air. If your audience does not trust you, ClickFunnels will not force trust. But if you already have something people want and you need a better system to turn attention into leads and buyers, then ClickFunnels becomes a serious option. That is the heart of this review. The Nigerian online selling problem ClickFunnels is trying to solve Most Nigerian online sellers are not lazy. Many are actually hardworking. The problem is that hard work without systems becomes punishment. You post manually. You reply manually. You follow up manually. You send price manually. You send account details manually. You remind people manually. You explain benefits manually. You handle objections manually. You send proof manually. You chase payment manually. At some point, your business becomes a WhatsApp queue. And if you are the founder, coach, consultant, or freelancer, that queue depends on your mood, your data, your battery, your network, your attention, and your emotional strength. That is not scalable. Now, I am not insulting manual selling. Manual selling is powerful. In fact, many Nigerian businesses started from manual selling. But as you grow, you need structure. You need a page that explains the offer. You need a lead magnet that captures serious prospects. You need a follow-up sequence. You need a place where people can read before asking questions. You need a way to separate curious people from ready people. You need proof. You need clarity. You need a stronger buyer journey. This is what ClickFunnels is trying to help with. It gives you a way to create pages and funnels where each step has a purpose. For example, you can build a funnel like this: Facebook post or Google search. Then a review page. Then a lead magnet. Then an email or WhatsApp follow-up. Then a sales page. Then checkout or WhatsApp conversation. Then delivery. Then testimonial request. Then upsell. That is not magic. That is structure. And structure is what most online businesses lack. This is why ClickFunnels became popular among coaches, course creators, consultants, agencies, ecommerce sellers, webinar hosts, and affiliate marketers. It speaks directly to people who do not just want a website. They want a selling path. And that difference is important. Because if you are reading this page, I suspect you are not only looking for software. You are looking for a better way to sell. Maybe you already tried posting on Facebook. Maybe you tried Instagram reels. Maybe you tried boosting posts. Maybe you tried a Wix website. Maybe you tried WordPress. Maybe you tried WhatsApp status. Maybe you tried sending people direct affiliate links. Maybe you tried telling people “link in bio.” But the results are not matching the effort. So now you are asking: “Should I try ClickFunnels?” That is a fair question. But before we answer it fully, I want you to understand one painful truth. Most people do not need ClickFunnels first. They need funnel thinking first. A person with funnel thinking can sell from a simple page. A person without funnel thinking can waste money inside expensive software. This is why I will keep repeating strategy before software. Because if you understand the buyer journey, ClickFunnels becomes a tool. If you do not understand the buyer journey, ClickFunnels becomes another shiny object. And shiny objects are dangerous for Nigerian entrepreneurs because every dollar subscription must justify itself. My honest founder-level answer before we go deeper Would I recommend ClickFunnels to Nigerians in 2026? Yes, but not blindly. I would recommend ClickFunnels to a Nigerian who already has a serious offer, clear audience, traffic source, and strong desire to build a proper online sales journey. I would not recommend ClickFunnels to someone who has no offer, no content, no audience, no proof, no traffic, and no plan. That person should not start with software. That person should start with clarity. This is why IbiFoundry exists. At IbiFoundry, we help people think through content, SEO, websites, funnels, trust, buyer journeys, and conversion systems from a Nigerian and African perspective. You can learn more about IbiFoundry here: https://www.ibifoundry.com.ng/what-is-ibifoundry You can also read more about me, Dr. Simon Taki Zaku, here: https://www.ibifoundry.com.ng/about-simon-taki-zaku If you want help building a website or funnel page, you can start from IbiFoundry Website Design Services Nigeria: https://www.ibifoundry.com.ng/services-website-design-nigeria If you want content and SEO support, you can check IbiFoundry Content Marketing and Writing Agency: https://www.ibifoundry.com.ng/ibi-foundry-content-marketing-and-content-writing-agency-services-in-nigeria If you are a freelancer trying to package your skill into a stronger offer, you can look at Freelance to $1K Coaching Nigeria: https://www.ibifoundry.com.ng/courses-freelance-to-1k-coaching-nigeria And if you are simply confused and want a decision-support path before you buy any tool, you can explore Ask Dr Simon Says AI: https://www.ibifoundry.com.ng/stop-stressing-ask-dr-simon-says-ai-decision-search-engine-nigeria But for this page, the main focus is ClickFunnels. So let us stay disciplined. The first offer I want you to know is the ClickFunnels free trial. Use this if you already know you want to test the platform yourself: https://www.clickfunnels.com/signup-flow?aff=2b7d996dcf35b6e6ed7319b06b73754d64fe930f945a60e4b962bb6321eb173b Do not use it to play. Use it to test a real funnel idea. Use it to build a page. Use it to understand the interface. Use it to see if your offer can live inside a funnel. Use it to check whether the monthly cost makes sense for your business. Use it like a serious founder. Not like someone looking for vibes. And if you want to learn funnel thinking before building, the One Funnel Away Challenge may also be useful: https://www.onefunnelaway.com/?aff=2b7d996dcf35b6e6ed7319b06b73754d64fe930f945a60e4b962bb6321eb173b Again, do not buy because I mentioned it. Buy only if the timing fits your business. That is the IbiFoundry rule. Helpful first. Revenue second. Trust forever. What this page will help you decide By the time you finish this ClickFunnels review Nigeria guide, I want you to make one of three decisions. Decision one: “Yes, Dr Simon, ClickFunnels fits my current stage and I want to start with the free trial.” Decision two: “Dr Simon, I like ClickFunnels, but I need to fix my offer, content, and WhatsApp flow first.” Decision three: “Dr Simon, I should not buy ClickFunnels yet because I am not ready.” All three decisions are useful. Because clarity saves money. And sometimes, not buying today is the smartest business decision. But sometimes, delaying because of fear is also expensive. That is why this page will not only give you information. It will help you judge yourself honestly. Do you have an offer? Do people already ask about your service? Do you already get traffic? Do you already sell manually? Do you already have proof? Do you already know your buyer pain? Do you already know what next step you want people to take? If yes, ClickFunnels may help you build faster. If no, pause and build the foundation first. And if you want me to help you think through that foundation, message me on WhatsApp: +234 913 783 9031 Tell me: “Dr Simon, I read your ClickFunnels review and I want to know if I am ready.” That one message can save you from wasting money. Now let us enter the main review properly. But before that, I want you to hold one sentence in your mind. ClickFunnels is not the shortcut to money. ClickFunnels is the shortcut to structure. And structure only works when the offer is real. What is ClickFunnels in simple Nigerian English? ClickFunnels is an online platform that helps you build sales funnels. A sales funnel is a guided online path that moves someone from interest to action. In simple Nigerian English, ClickFunnels helps you create pages that sell, collect leads, follow up with prospects, host digital products, and guide people toward buying or contacting you. Instead of sending people to a normal website where they can click anywhere and disappear, ClickFunnels helps you build a focused journey. That journey can be for a course. It can be for coaching. It can be for consulting. It can be for affiliate marketing. It can be for ecommerce. It can be for webinars. It can be for lead generation. It can be for digital products. It can even be for a WhatsApp-first business if you build it correctly. The mistake many Nigerians make is thinking ClickFunnels means you must abandon WhatsApp. No. That is not how I would use it. I would use ClickFunnels as the structured page system and WhatsApp as the human trust channel. That means the funnel educates the visitor before the conversation starts. By the time the person enters WhatsApp, they are no longer completely cold. They have read. They have seen the offer. They have understood the promise. They have seen the proof. They have answered some objections in their mind. Now the WhatsApp conversation becomes easier. That is powerful. Because one of the biggest problems in
